My wife and I had a wonderful stay.
Pros:

Friendly staff, great swimming pool, very clean rooms, quiet nights, and of course your location.

Pros:

Love the Washington plaza for its 70’s vibe. Glad they’ve kept that feeling in the lobby and restaurant. I hope the new rooms reflect that style as well. The existing g small mosaic til in the showers should be replicated in the new design scheme. It’s a signature of the Plaza. Please don’t make these anonymous blank hotel rooms that everyone is doing these days. So boring??

Great place and location for a great price.
Pros:

Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was good and the price was nice. (Thursday night was half the price of Friday night.) We were a 12 minute walk from one metro and about 15 minutes from a different one. The hotel stored our luggage for us, which was helpful.

I liked the food and pool.

Cons:

For starters there wasn't any kind of vending for snacks after restaurant side closed. We went down for breakfast the last day we were there and couldn't get seated. stood there for about 20 min waited to be seated the waiter and waitress just looked at me and my daughter we just ended up leaving.
