Fantastic location and definitely will stay again
Pros:

Loved the location but it’s a bit hard to find without signage. Room was lovely. Definitely will stay again.

The volume of music in one of the bars precluded staying very long. Otherwise a great stay.

Ein wirklich fabelhafter Aufenthalt!
Pros:

Das teuerste Hotel, in dem ich je übernachtet habe – und ich werde mir das wohl nie wieder leisten können. Aber ich habe mir den Traum erfüllt, mehrere Inszenierungen zu sehen & in diesem District zu wohnen und immer Theaterluft zu schnuppern.
Wegen negativer Bewertungen zum Frühstück war ich skeptisch: Für Rührei sollte man 16 £ zahlen! Inzwischen gehören Rührei & Lachs zum Standardbuffet. Eine Extrakarte gibt es, aber wer braucht die hier schon. Der Lachs wird ständig nachgelegt, das Obst ist saftig, süß, frisch und perfekt geschnitten. Der Frühstücksraum ist mit seinen beiden bücherverkleideten Säulen für eine Buchliebhaberin wie mich ein Traum!
Die Klimaanlage funktioniert perfekt – endlich konnte ich in der Kühle schlafen, die ich brauche!
Mein Blick ging zum Goodwin Court, über Dachgärten bis zu einem Teil des beleuchteten Noel Coward Theatre.
Das geräumige Bad und die herrlich duftenden Dusch- & Shampoo-Produkte!. Alle Mitarbeiter waren ausgesprochen freundlich & hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Aufgefallen ist mir, dass der Badezimmerboden recht kalt war und dass es keine Klobürste gab. Will ich gar nicht kritisieren, ist mir bloß aufgefallen. Ich persönlich friere nicht so leicht.
Und natürlich ist klar, dass in weniger teuren Städten ein Hotelzimmer in dieser Preisklasse größer ist oder noch mehr Extras bereithält. Aber es ist eben London, es ist ein richtig cooles Viertel und ich bereue meinen Besuch im St Martin’s Lane überhaupt nicht.
