Außergewöhlicher Aufenthalt in einem ikonischen Castle
Pros:

Alles war außergewöhnlich! Stilistisch passend, wie auf den Fotos zu sehen (eben ein Castle :-)). Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich. Leider waren wir nur eine Nacht. Essen war sehr gut, ebenso das Frühstück mit frischem Omelete mit den gewünschten Zutaten oder Crèpes. Das Schloss ist - bis auf eine Kleinigkeit, s.u. - sehr gut gepflegt.

Cons:

Die 2 Heli-Landeplätze, die dem Aussehen nach vermutlich eher nicht mehr im Einsatz sind. Früher waren wohl auch ganz große Persönlichkeiten zu Gast, z.B. Bill Clinton. Man sieht schon: schwierig, überhaupt etwas Negatives zu finden :-)

Brilliant stay, where the owners made you feel welcomed and looked after the whole time

Nice location, friendly people but not so good room conditions.
Pros:

Location and ambience. Staff very friendly and helped us in every question we had.

Cons:

Room and bath conditions were not as expected. The bad smell of the bathroom was there.

Absolutely Wonderful
Pros:

Very beautiful castle with lots of history and character . The owner Brian was so attentive and helpful and had an amazing memory for names and he gave a lovely history about the Castle before dinner in the bar with complimentary prosecco around a burning log fire . Thank you . We will definitely re visit when we are back in the area and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the amazing food
