The classic Art Deco style, which has remained unchanged over time and is particularly well-maintained.
The friendliness of the staff, the attention to detail in the cleanliness, and the way I was treated – on my birthday, they offered us a glass of sparkling wine at breakfast to toast the occasion, and I blew out a candle on the pastel de nata; they also left a bottle of sparkling wine in my room, courtesy of the hotel
The hotel was really central for all sight seeing and very welcoming
It would have been nice to have a small courtyard to go outside but there were plenty of outside spaces just a very short walk away
Breakfast has excellent choices, well prepared and presented. Staff is very kind and went beyond duties to be accommodating.
The staff were so friendly. Personable and extra helpful. We enjoyed the old style architecture , the (real) antique finishes and the late breakfast facilities. We were made to feel extra welcome
