My stay at the Renaissance Barcelona Hotel was fantastic. The hotel is beautifully located right in the heart of Barcelona, making it easy to walk to countless restaurants, markets, shops, and many of the city's most popular attractions.
What truly made the experience exceptional was the staff. Rafael, the bellman, went above and beyond, helping me with multiple bags and assisting with laundry needs during both my arrival and departure. His kindness and professionalism made traveling so much easier.
The bar staff were equally outstanding. Luke, Andreas, and the entire morning and evening team were friendly, attentive, and always provided excellent service. They helped create a welcoming atmosphere that made the hotel feel like a home away from home.
If you're looking for a hotel with an excellent location, comfortable accommodations, and a staff that genuinely cares about its guests, I highly recommend the Renaissance Barcelona Hotel. I would absolutely stay here again on my next visit to Barcelona.
Excellent location. Extremely helpful staff. Nice rooms . Restaurants everywhere and one block from excellent shopping on Passeig de Gracia. The rooftop bar is awesome but there is no “pool”, just a 5 x 8 ft tub at the corner of the rooftop bar to climb in and stand in. Don’t bother!
Breakfast was included and it was great!
The location of the hotel is good-close to everything. Our room was very small and I would ask to be away from the rooftop bar-very loud and noisy and very late into the evening!
The good is
Great staff
Good location
Excellent breakfast
Rooftop bar
The less good
Small room (even as Titanium Elite)
Our bathroom has a consistent foul order

I’ve been a loyal Marriott guest for a while now, and I’ve always had a great experience. But I wanted to take a moment to thank some of the amazing employees I met at the Renaissance Barcelona. They really made our trip even more special.
Here are the folks who went above and beyond:
1. Aitor - He checked us in and showed us how much he loves his job. He was super friendly and helpful.
2. Zandra - Oh my gosh, Zandra was incredible! She made our tapas experience unforgettable. She was always there to answer any questions we had.
3. Maylen - She was amazing every morning for breakfast. She was so friendly and attentive.
4. Raphael - He was the front desk guy, and he was so welcoming. He always greeted us with a smile.
5. Marc - He made breakfast extra special with his great customer service. And his frothed milk made our coffee even better!
6. Kaycey - She was fantastic with our breakfast.
7. Antonina - She was amazing with our breakfast.
Thanks to all of these incredible employees, our trip to the Renaissance Barcelona was truly unforgettable.
Location is good
Restaurant is good
Room is big
Nothing
La amabilidad de los chicos de recepción y Rafael .
Si tendría que decir algo un poco más de calidad en el desayuno ya que es un hotel de 5 estrellas
I do not know whether this property it is a Marriott property or a private property operating under the name of Marriott.
I can certainly state that this is one of the worst Marriott Hotels I have ever stayed in my life.
The Hotel is totally over priced with a sub standard service.
I felt very sorry to have chosen and stayed a this property. It is a pity because the location of the hotel is premium within Barcelona.
The quality of the rooms are definitely not in accordance to what the Hotel charges and service is very very bad.
It is not worth staying at this property.
The Renaissance Hotel was outstanding in every way. Do not hesitate to choose this hotel for Barcelona The location is great - a few blocks from (3) Metro lines. A few blocks from Catalunya Placa - the final stopping point and first pick up point for the Aerobus from the BCN airport. The round trip cost for the bus was about $15 and only makes a few stops. Easy walk to Las Ramblas. And about 20 minutes to walk to the beach.
The hotel seemed very safe with security always there in the lobby - extra level of comfort.
The wifi was efficient and there were about 5 English TV channels - a few news and Comedy Channel, Nickelodian.
Now the best that sets this hotel apart. There is a refrigerator in the room stocked with about (6) drinks. These are included in the room and replenished daily. What a great perk that is not add much expense to the hotel. Outstanding!
The addition highlight is the breakfast on the Mezanine level. Wow is the best description - all the food was fresh, extremely well organized and included a few made to order items such as omelets. This was included as a Platinum level Bonvoy perk. Between the free in room drinks and the breakfast, the lack of a lounge is not an issue. This is one of the best hotels around the world in which I stayed.
By far the best service my wife and I have ever received when staying in a hotel. This was our first trip to Barcelona. The first floor staff was great giving us recommendations and always asking how our day was and if we needed anything. The hotel was clean throughout and our room was serviced everyday. The breakfast buffet was good with plenty of food choices.
The Renaissance was located close to shopping, restaurants, popular sites and the Metro. Would definitely recommend The Renaissance when staying in Barcelona. Special shoutout to Hugo who definitely went out of his way each day to make us feel special as guests of the Renaissance.
Konum temizlik çalışanlar herşey harikaydı
The staff there was amazing. You cannot beat the location. The breakfast buffet was very satisfying. exceptional service from a gentleman during breakfast (Ata) I highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Barcelona
This one of best hotels we stayed in so far . The front staff and all the other staff are so friendly and very helpful. They always make sure your needs are met. This is the first time we visited Barcelona and the staff is very eager to show you the directions and help getting your destinations.
This location is a great one. It is right in the middle of Eixample area and close to Passeig de gràcia metro from which you can get several metro to city center and other areas. We bought the unlimited 30 day Metro pass T - Usual and saved us lot of money. We took the taxi only once . This location is also very close to the bus stop, El Carmel ( bus number 24) which can take you to Park Guell straight. The famous Sagrada Família ( Gaudi's master piece ) is also only 9 blocks from this hotel by walking or a short metro ride. The city center Playa de Catalunya is also very close by. This hotel is away from the very crowded and touristy area La Rambla and situated in a very nice neighborhood with several cafes nearby for coffee and snacks and also great restaurants like Vinitus and others.
The roof top bar Goja is a wonderful place to relax and they give preference to hotel guests with seating . We had a great lunch with Menu del dila option for only 36 Euros for 2 people.
Overall we are very happy with our choice with this hotel and would give 5 stars and we would definitely come back.
The staff was outstanding. They were extremely helpful, cheerful and accommodating. The breakfast and food in general was terrific...not gourmet... just delicious.
The hotel was clean with very comfortable beds and the location was superb.
I didn't like the slippery floor in the bathroom. It seemed to be designed to cause an a accident. In fact, my husband did fall. Dangerous.
The decor in the lobby needs an upgrade .
