Location was good and convenient.
Our room’s iron had an exposed wire which gave me an electric shock while ironing my clothes. Evidently not the most pleasant experiences as tourists. Also, the kettle was still filled with water from the previous guests, which is in our opinion a big oversight on hygiene of a hotel of this supposed level of comfort and operation.
The bed was also not the cleanest; we noticed black soot-like specks on the sheets.

Very nice hotel with a very good breakfast. Nice staff who were very helpful with all of our needs. Kept our large luggage for 4 days while we went on a four day excursion to Isle of Skye.

Clean, staff friendly, hotel in a good location
No air conditioning, house keeping left us with only with decaf coffee. Windows in our room the size of ship portholes, was a fan in the cupboard. The shower was well below par, static and poor water flow, no non slip map provided to stand in the bath. If you wanted a bath I’m guessing you might have to run the water for forty five minutes. Really poor.

Very dated, room was dirty and in need of renovation. Disgusted with the price we paid! Not worth the money.
Great location for a short walk into the city. It was clean and comfy and ok value for the location.
We were pleasantly surprised to find, when we checked in, that we'd been upgraded to one of the hotel's biggest rooms - it was enormous, and included a sleeper sofa, desk, armoire, etc. The dormer windows offered a nice view of green space. The bed was the best one of the trip; blackout shades were excellent and nights were quiet and restful.
The breakfast scene was a little chaotic, as they were a bit short-staffed, but food choices were good. The staff were very kind, pleasant, and helpful.
The bathroom fixtures were nicely updated, but the water pressure was very low and dribbled to a total halt several times in mid-shower. I had to shut it off, wait a while, and turn it back on to get any water to rinse off. Maybe something to do with being on the top floor?
