Please note: Bedrooms are located on the third and fourth floors. The property does have a service elevator to the rear of the building, however it services the first and second floors only.Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

I loved it! Felt very luxurious and special.
Pros:

Beautiful property, unique and historic building. Outstanding staff across reception, restaurant, housekeeping and breakfast service. Perfect location for Grafton Street, St Stephen’s Green, National art gallery.

Cons:

Some minor issues; a chipped glass in the room, a loose tap on the sink, and a fan that could not be turned off in the bathroom.

Elegant stay across the square.
Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay at this boutique hotel right across from St. Stephen’s Square. The staff is friendly and professional, and the building is exceptionally beautiful. Our room, albeit expensive, was beautiful.

Perfect location. Nice bathrooms. Comfortable bed.

Cons:

We requested 2 of the same type of room. One was double the size of the other. The bed was smaller in the small room, too.
We were on the 5th floor. Definitely winded us! But the staff brought our bags up and down, which was great.
The breakfast was not quite what we had expected, but the waitresses were very nice.

A charming, historic, surprisingly quiet Dublin stay w exceptional service, an unbeatable location
Pros:

We stayed three nights at the start of our trip and found this to be an excellent base for exploring Dublin. The location is outstanding and walkable to many attractions, restaurants, and pubs. The building is beautiful, full of historic character and thoughtful design details, breakfast at Cellar 22 was delicious, and the service was exceptional from arrival onward. After a long overnight flight from the US, staff immediately helped with our luggage without us even needing to ask, which was especially appreciated since guest rooms are located on the upper floors.

Cons:

Our room overlooked an interior courtyard and a neighboring building under renovation, so the view was not a highlight. The room was also on the smaller side, which is understandable in a historic city property but worth noting for travelers with large luggage or longer stays. We experienced a strong odor originating from the bathroom that lingered throughout our stay. For those concerned by other reviews mentioning the Viking Splash Tour, we found it used the area across the road as a gathering point and it was not disruptive.

Disappointing considering we stayed here under Cliff House management and loved breakfast in the large dining room first

Breakfast in Cellar 22 was very poor .
Eggs Benedict served with cold Hollandaise on poor quality crumpets.

Same crumpets used in Dolce de leche , tasted like cardboard.

Very poor coffee .
