Grounds were nice to walk around and a pub a 5 minute walk off site
Room was very dated
Great location just off A1, and beautiful property
Room was only cleaned to basic level. Cobwebs all over with a few spiders lurking in the cornered of the room and bathroom.
The toilet system was faulty, water continuously flowed meaning the system refilled every 90 seconds which made for a noisy night. In the end, I took it apart and shut off the intel pipe.
Nice looking building, friendly staff, small gym, handy location for the A1 & A19, nice evening meal and EV chargers.
A bit dated and untidy here and there.
We booked a feature room which was outside away from the main building , the room was unliveable and was smelly cold and damp , after speaking to Mandy the receptionist she agreed the room was not habitable and is wrongly advertised and described on here which she has previously stated to you , the room has now been condemned, Mandy was very helpful and found a nicer but was unfortunately a very small twin which was not what we had paid for and as this was our anniversary night away it obviously ruined our whole experience.We would like a full refund or we will escalate this matter.
