Such a clean room, was ready for when we got there. Lovely staff
Beautiful setting
Great place surrounded by nature. relaxing and inspiring
Perhaps air conditioning in the rooms?
Location is excellent, staff very good, a lovely place to enjoy a short break even popping into London for a day is a breeze., our room was excellent in size with tea/coffee making facilities which were replenished daily.
Sitting on the balcony of an evening eating or drinking with a great view of London in the distance was very relaxing after a busy day out
Had requested room 19 with a fan and fridge, as we'd stayed in that room a couple of times previously and although we were accommodated in room 17, initially there was no fridge in the room as requested that was quickly supplied, one complaint about our bed in room 17 the mattress is extremely soft in comparison to other rooms we have been placed in on prior visits which led to mixed sleep for both of us, information which I advised the manager on check out
Sehr schönes Anwesen. Könnte sicher and er ein oder anderen Stelle renoviert werden, hat aber einen tollen Charme.
Sehr kleine Betten
Breakfast and Dinner where excelent and the team in charge where absolutely perfect .
Special Thanks to ALEX at the bar.
Really helfpul and excellent negroni
Really Hot in the room (heat wave during our stay) and no A/C.
Loved the location and first impressions were fantastic.
The room was very old and had a musky damp smell. The bathroom was old and dirty around the bath. The room and bathroom really need updating.
Great value, staff were amazing… especially Joanne who went the extra mile
The rooms didn’t have aircon
Not a lot
The beds are far too soft and the bed linen
is of extremely poor quality and very harsh
Excellent location for the National Orthopaedic Hospital. Large outdoor gardens and parking
Should have taken a Tea mug for my morning cuppa. Poor quality toilet roll 🤣
Smooth check in, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. We did not have dinner, but the breakfast was very good. Will stay there again. Fabulous grounds and an exemplary and friendly bar.
Breakfast times on Saturday are little too rigid (0800 - 10.00) an earlier start and later end time would be, in my view, far better.
The Hotel looks beautiful from the outside, old tudor style building and a long driveway. HOWEVER the rooms are severely dated, I booked a double room and they look terrible, along with the fact that there is no air conditioning. The gym is missing many weights, but at least there is some cardio equipment that works. If only they would give these rooms a new lease of life then they could call it a 4 star but this is 3 star at best.
The staff are welcoming and polite though which is at least something.
Lovely location.
Looking at the photos you would expect to be staying in the old Manor, however my room was in a more modern hotel block away from the main house.
Brilliant staff, really helpful. Excellent value for money
