Guests are advised to reserve a table in the restaurant before arrival, in order to avoid disappointment. Woodlands Park Hotel hosts weddings and celebrations throughout the year. Disruption will be kept to a minimum.

Pros:

An excellent room, well-equipped and spacious. Just what was needed after a busy day's work. Water in the room, a nice touch.
Staff were helpful, informative and friendly.

Cons:

Price of breakfast. £25 each was too steep for us.
Location meant the use of car/taxi only real option - shame as work could have been just a 10 inute walk if there were footpaths along a busy, narrow road.

Lovely hotel with lots of nice seating areas inside and out. The lift was handy too. I think our room was overpriced.
Pros:

Beautiful location and venue. Checking in and out very smooth . Air conditioning in the room was struggling but it did help as we were there over the hot weekend.

Cons:

Our shower leaked all over the bathroom floor as the seal on shower door not good. We reported it and they wanted to fix it during our stay whilst we were getting ready for a wedding reception . I suggested they came back the following day when we were leaving.

Een meer dan heerlijke overnachting.
Pros:

Ontbijt zeer goede uitgebreide kaart. Helaas mag je niet in de ontbijt of dinerruimte komen met een kleine teckel. Gelukkig mooi weer dus buiten gezeten. Super lekker ontbijt en veel keuze. Dinerkaart heb ik de "brasserie/bar" kaart gebruikt omdat ik in de lobby moest eten vanwege de hond. Prima daar te zitten en omdat ik met laptop wilde werken was dat wel ok. De eetzaal was een prachtige zaal maar voor mij alleen wat te formeel die avond. Het eten was heerlijk.
De locatie is weliswaar buiten wat lawaaiig maar het gebouw is best ingewikkeld maar prachtig, hele grote tuin wat fijn was voor de hond. De tennisbaan wordt niet bijgehouden. Het hotel behoort tot een keten The Handpicked hotels. Zeer luxe tot in de details.

Cons:

Op de een of andere manier merk je wel dat het een hotel is wat met name gebruikt wordt voor feesten en partijen, en huwelijken. En verder voor doorreizende toeristen naar de Dover.
Door de stijl van het landgoed is het daarom wat statisch en wat ouder publiek denk ik. Een iets informelere ruimte om te eten, lezen etc. zou niet misstaan.

Lovely hotel just a little disappointed
Pros:

We picked the Woodlands Park hotel as we had stayed at other Handpicked hotels and thought we would combine it with a trip to RHS Wisley.
The hotel is lovely and we had no issues with our room which had everything we needed and was very comfortable.
Just two little gripes that spoilt our stay. We booked a table in the Oak Restaurant and had a really lovely meal but people were constantly walking backwards and forwards through the dining room to the garden/bar while we were sitting eating, not what you expect when you advertise a 2AA Rosette restaurant.
Our other issue was breakfast which was buffet style everything cooked and just left on the side. We were offered 3 other options but it wasn’t the breakfast cooked to order shown on your website.
The staff were all very helpful and friendly but you could do with more than one waiter and one barman.
Overall a little disappointed.

Pros:

Staff were excellent, the room was excellent, breakfast in the room was excellent and the staff could not do enough. Special mention of one member of the bar staff on Sunday / Monday who wnet abouve and beyond, youg chap with a shaven head.
