Friendly staff but probably not a place I’d recommend
Pros:

The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

Rooms, high cost for laundry and drinks. AC didn’t work very well, neither did the coffee machine in the room. Breakfast was ok but a lot of the food was cold.

An unorganised mess
Pros:

I would say the bed was comfy

Cons:

Most of the staff were rude and disrespectful. I left my credit card at the reception when I checked in, but they would still bother me every single time a receipt was issued, especially the Sky bar upstairs with that manager made that poor little girl to chase me down the stairs to pay when I had requested to add it in the room. They would call me several times on quiet hours when I’m obviously there to relax and while I’m trying to deal with a health issue I informed. The HK would knock on my door when I have the do-not-disturb sign…. I wouldn’t say the hotel is even near any 5-star standards from the facilities to the staff training. And I booked a double bed and was given twins, plus my card was not working when I arrived, past midnight…..

What a Shame
Pros:

There are some great staff at this hotel.

However, the prevalence of smoking in all public areas - especially at breakfast - makes it completely unfit for purpose in 2026.

If you don’t smoke, don’t even think of coming here.

If you do (like most Greeks), fill your boots and enjoy the disgusting atmosphere collectively.

A warm welcome ….
Pros:

I stay in Athens Marriott hotel for 2 nights before every cruise I take from Piraeus - around 12 nights in the last two years. The hotel is very convenient for the airport, the city and Piraeus port. It offers good facilities and friendly staff.
My last two visits have been exceptionally enjoyable thanks to the employee overseeing the Executive Lounge. She is personable, communicates well and makes every visitor fell welcome. For me, she is an excellent ambassador for the Marriott brand world wide.
