Everything was Lubberly jubberly, Staff were brilliant nothing was to much trouble, The food in the Restaraunt and the buffet breakfast was lovely,
The hotel is is a mix between the old and new and when the new development and refurbishment is done it will probably rank as the best in the Lake District
Nothing to dislike only one question why are there no umbrellas for the tables on the lawn, We stayed on the hottest week of the year and a bit of shade would have been lovely.

Fantastic service. Lovely room with view over lake. Good restaurant and meal.
Great view, the bar area was a terrific place to relax with drink and food, lovely to have a range of indoor and outdoor seating/relaxation areas. Walking distance to everything. Good drinks and food list.
Beds were a little soft for our liking, but still lovely.
Lovely view.
Parking very expensive compared to the other hotels we visited.
فندق قديم بس جميل وموقعه رائع جدا
الأثاث قديم والسرير غير مريح والغرف الغير مطله عادية لان الفكرة كلها بالإطلالة
Splendid architecture and splendid location
Could not book dinner - large party having an event.
Amazing location and has a beautiful feel.
Value for money seems to have declined over the years. The price for parking seems excessive and breakfast used to be included with the stay. Though the refurbishments have made a huge difference in some areas, others still feel tired such as bathrooms. Staff can be a little rude and the general customer service is lacking.
View of the lake near to the facilities
46 steps out of the front of the property and a steep road at the back.
Breakfast was basic but nice, however even though restaurant was fairly quiet, we were given a table where both seats looked out onto the building site at the back of the hotel.
Numerous other tables were available, but we had to stare at rubble for 30 minutes for no reason, as at no point was the restaurant full
The location was a beautiful lake view.
The staff were very professional, polite and friendly. We needed a great deal of assistance due to disabilities this was given without us feeling a burden.
It was the house keeping member of staff's first job in hospitality he will go far.
The breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice and well presented throughout service times. We really enjoyed our stay.
We only dined in the restaurant one evening and whilst the food and staff were exellent. The menu was limited.
