Wonderful staff and so lovely , the location and the design are so calming and give a great vibes.
We booked a stay at this hotel for my husband's 70th birthday and our wedding anniversary. I booked a family room as the rooms on the website looked lovely. I phoned the hotel before the stay to let them know that it was a special occasion, requesting a room with a view. They said that they did not have a room with a view available but would ensure that we had a nice room. On arriving at the hotel, our room (with shabby chairs) looked onto renovations and a large mound of earth. We went to reception and asked for a change of room and were informed that we would be moved the next day. This did not happen. We were then informed that we had received a communication regarding the renovations and that there was information regarding it on the confirmation e-mail for both ours and our daughter's separate booking. This was not the case. No explanation or compensation was offered to us and the person at the desk (the manager, I believe) was curt and rude in his manner. The dining room is shabby and the service minimal (I had to make my own toast when I requested eggs on toast). We had to wait 40mins for a pre-booked afternoon tea. I sent a communication to the hotel afterwards and received no follow-up. My advice to you is do not stay in this over-priced hotel. It was a huge disappointment on a special occasion.

Very disappointing second visit nothing like it was a few years ago
Room was tiny with a filthy window overlooking another building peeling paint and an overall smell of wet dog only added to my discomfort
Breakfast was poor machine coffee awful with scummy foam on top
Plastic fried eggs been cooked a while ago no fresh option and exacerbated by guests touching bread and pastries with hands not tongs yuk!
Lots of crying toddlers I could have joined in !
Building work going on but contained behind a fence and not intrusive
Menu poor basic pub grub didn’t bother with that
From the minute we arrived, we were made to feel welcome.
Our bags were brought in from the car for us (thanks to the person who helped….Philip?) and there was a lovely welcome card in the room to mark my birthday (a lovely touch).
Our rooms were clean, very comfortable and had everything we needed.
We had a great night’s sleep and a filling breakfast.
The staff went over and above by being welcoming, attentive and thoughtful to any needs or questions we had before and during our stay.

Our family and friends group all really enjoyed our stay at The Belsfield and as soon as the opportunity arises, there will be no hesitation in booking again.

عدة أشياء لم تعجبني:
1- الجو كان حار وكان هناك مروحة واحدة صغيرة وطلبت مروحة أخرى وكان الرد لا يوجد إلا مروحة واحدة فقط وفي نفس الوقت أخي نزل في فندق ماكدونالد وأعطوه مروحة ومكيف صغير
2- قارورة الماء يجب أن نأخذها من تحت وعندما نأخذ القارورة تقول لي لك قارورة واحدة فقط في اليوم وانت اخذت هذه القارورة ولا يحق لنا طلب قارورة أخرى بهذا الجو الحال.
3- الكنب في غرفة الاولاد كان به بقع مما يثير الإشمئزاز
4- كنا جالسين بالدهة أمام الفندق وطلبنا قهوة وقالت لنا أن الكهرباء مقطوعة وبعد فترة وجدنا الطاولة بجانبنا أحضروا قهوة فاستغربت ودخلت فوجدت الكهرباء رجعت ولا يتم أخبارنا ونحن ننتظر بالخارج وعندما أردت طلب قهوة قال لي يجب أن تدخل وتطلب القهوة وتأخذها معك للخارج خدمة جدا سيئة.
5- المناشف قليلة الشامبو قليل يجب الطلب من الاستقبال لأي شيء والنزول تحت وأخذ المناشف لا يوجد احد يوصل أي شيء للغرفة.

The amount of bookings and hotel in afternoon time were noise and the stairs when you walk on it make sound as it made from wood
