Cramped bathroom with slippery bath and shower over. Not Good for older customers, creaky floor. No hotel info in room or on tv. Meal times, pool times etc etc. dinner ok but restricted menu needs extending. Don’t have the Thai fish cake(S). £7 for one ping pong ball sized fishcake a joke. At 9.30 queue for breakfast table 20 minute wait. Management needs to get a grip on organising several aspects.
Very friendly and efficient staff
A lovely property in a great location. We’ve stayed here before and were very happy to return. It’s comfortable, well maintained and a really enjoyable place to stay.
Our only criticism was the noise from the cleaners in the morning. The doors along the corridor were repeatedly allowed to bang shut while they were cleaning, which was quite disruptive and frustrating when we were trying to relax.
Definitely worth upgrading to a better room with AC, e.g. Prince of Wales room which has a lovely view, is very nicely furnished and has a beautifully appointed bathroom. Also good to have a fridge with fresh milk for tea/coffee. Lovely breakfast in a very lovely dining room. Seating areas for an evening drink are also very nice. Kiaran on front desk very helpful throughout stay.
I also tried a standard room. I really think Tewkesbury Park needs to get AC into all the rooms. Thankfully, the temperature had gone down a little bit when I changed room, otherwise it would have been unbearable. As usual, the fan provided was pretty useless. And no fridge in these rooms.

Health club needs some updating
Swimming area, breakfast food. Waiter at breakfast. The staff at breakfast seemed extremely busy and not enough of them but you could see how hard they were working. The bed was comfortable.
I checked in at the desk, she asked if I had been there before to which I said no. She took my email and payment and took me to the room.
Didn’t explain anything about the facilities, what time or where breakfast was and I had to ask all this… I wanted to use the swimming pool she didn’t even tell me the timings or where this was. Thought it was a very poor check in experience. I also asked if I could check out at 12 to which reception agreed and I understood had made note of this. However I had a call at 11:15 asking me if I needed help as I hadn’t checked out yet.. lack of communication.
I had to queue to get into breakfast to then be turned away as they were too busy. I put a dressing gown on in the room and as I put my arm through the sleeve a used tissue came out.
Great location, lovely clean room with large double bed, super helpful staff, excellent spa services. Breakfast was fantastic, good range of food and not over-crowded.

We absolutely loved the hotel. The location is beautiful and peaceful, with excellent facilities. Our room was fantastic and beautifully comfortable, and we particularly loved the thoughtful touch of real milk in the fridge. The food was excellent, and every member of staff we met was amazing — friendly, welcoming and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay

Great location with stunning views of the surrounding countryside and countryside walks straight from the door. Some of the rooms have lovely patios looking right across the golf course and beyond and had plenty of space and good facilities. The food was fantastic and you were able to leave whatever tip you liked rather than the automatically added on 12% which seems usual these days!
