The hotel often caters for weddings and functions at weekends. A late night disco (until 00:30) is in place on most Friday and Saturday nights during the wedding season. Please be aware of this when booking your accommodations.

Absolute shambles. Rooms not cleaned properly, staff was rude, receptionist needs to learn how to smile. Hotel dated and in desperate need of scrub

The towels looked clean...... Unlike everything else
The entire room was filthy. The ground on the bathroom floor was mould, the bathroom light was dingy and the taps/ shower were thick with limescale. The wooden toilet seat was dubiously stained.
The shower gave nothing more than a luke warm trickle, whereas the tap burst out dangerously hot.
The bathroom didn't have a solid door, it had dusty wooden slatted swing doors that didn't close properly and couldn't be opened from the inside.
The sockets were behind the bedside table so had to lean down to where the skirting boards hadn't been wiped in a long time.
Neither the internet for the TV or the WiFi worked, we were told that there was no internet in that part of the hotel but we couldn't be moved because they were full. The staff member tuned through TV through an aerial but it went off again after about 15 minutes.
If we could have avoided using the bathroom we may have just got through the night but having an event the following day we needed a functioning, clean space. So we found somewhere else online and left.
I told the staff member behind the desk we were leaving because the bathroom is unusable, the TV and WiFi still weren't working and it wasn't fit for purpose. He briefly looked up and said okay before going back to his mobile phone.
Unfortunately in our haste to leave the last thing on my mind was taking pictures.
Easy parking for my hire car, clean facilities, the PIN code for your door to your room made me feel very safe. The bar down stairs was super convenient and the staff were just incredible! Super friendly and always happy to help! Had some wonderful conversations with the staff (and even other guests) and they always greeted me with a warm welcome every time I was coming and going. Nothing was too much trouble for reception or the house keeping staff too. Would stay again just for the staff 🥰
Bathrooms were a little older but still super clean and had everything you would need! Perfect for the price you pay!

Quiet room overlooking a football field.
Seemed very understaffed by people who seemed to have been co-opted from anywhere ( eg. Odd job man told us where to find breakfast items while a chef walked through and ignored us.)The toilet in our room wouldn't flush and the furniture was shabby and had missing parts, drawers didn't open etc. Slight smell of drains in the bathroom, no hand towel.
