1. The breakfasts are excellent !
2. ,The hotel's location is excellent: a 5-minute walk from Oxford Street and another 5 minutes to the underground stations and It is located on a quiet street.

1. The room lighting was too dim, especially around the mirror.

Location was great,the room was fine,but the decor was abit bland
Had to wait 45 mins for an iron to be brought up,even with two phone calls, had to go out in creased outfit in the end 😱 as didn’t arrive in time. Pool table although looks great had broken baulk cushion making it not great to play on. Breakfast selection is weak, not to have full English or bigger selection for the price of food.
Location is amazing. Rooms are big with good sheets, pillows and beds. Lots of windows so the room is bright. Nice big bathroom, good towels and dressing gowns, slippers. New water bottles every day.
So this used to be THE cool hotel in 2007-2016 I used to drink in the Long Bar a lot and always wanted to stay. And now, it just all feels a bit sad.
I didn’t really get a warm welcome. I felt like your front of house was very underwhelming. So friendly vibes wouldn’t go a miss. Some people checking in will have never been to London before and they’d have got the lack luster welcome I got, I’d be really sad for them.
The corridors to the rooms are carpeted and feel old and outdated, they smell a bit musty and feel like they could be industrially cleaned or replaced. Most hotels now have their own scent, from diffusers or something - would help create a vibe. I’m not talking glade, I’m talking about something that feels premium.
The king room was a good size, for the price I paid I’d have thought there would be better attention to detail from a 5* hotel. I was in 507 and the blinds on the window are metal horizontal office blinds, not chic, and then the blinds you pull down to black out are all shabby and kind of broken.
The phone didn’t work to call reception so I had to keep calling reception from my mobile. No one offered a solution to this problem.
In a 5* hotel I’d have hoped for some toiletries such as cotton pads, ear buds, toothbrush etc but there was nothing.
The white curtains in the rooms get a lot of comments but I personally like them as room dividers and these are a classic detail of the Sanderson.
The stay was good, but the hotel just feels a bit sad, like it needs some TLC to get back to their glory days.
The long bar was dead when I was there. It used to be packed all the time. I feel like you need be booking DJs that bring an appropriate crowd with them to party and bring a vibe. You need to get some life in there as the space and location is really good. Also the outside terrace. If you had a decent dj that outdoor terrace would be amazing up party on.

Extremely overpriced. Only booked there as visiting friend from overseas was there . Hotel was very dark, furnishings outdated and looked harsh and cold. Bathroom floor badly stained, looked awful. Depute £400/night for sole occupancy room, Hotel demanded £100 deposit for extras and took over 24 hours to refund. Restaurant very noisy, menu uninspiring so didn’t eat there.

This is the second time we stayed here after our excellent experience last year. We loved the location, breakfast, service, room size and cleanliness. Modern facility. Special thanks to the reception staff for our problematic package delivery.

C,è n'è una inserita nel telefono ma è di bassissima efficienza e la notte intera non basta per ricaricare il cell
