Best World Cup Experience Ever!
Pros:

We stayed at the Sofitel for the World Cup and July 4th celebrations for America's 250th birthday. What we didn't realize is that the Paraguay team would be staying in our hotel also. It was so much fun to see the team being cheered by fans when they came and went for practices and ultimately for the game. The hotel did an amazing job making us feel valued, even with all the craziness going on. Great location with awesome restaurants only a block away (try Rouge and Parc!). Definitely stay here.

A wonderful stay!
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, the service was top notch. The entire team went above and beyond to be helpful and accommodating, ensuring every aspect of my stay was perfect. Truly outstanding hospitality. I will definitely be back!

The hotel is centrally located and nicely adorned. It isn't my first time there and won't be my last. But there really needs to be better options for the A/C or thermostats in the rooms.

Need improvements to check in staff and more supportive mattress. Nice otherwise.
Pros:

Great location, very pretty and clean.

Cons:

The man who checked me in didn’t speak English very well and spoke very quietly. I had to keep asking him to repeat bc I couldn’t hear/understand him. Very frustrating when he was telling me about unexpected fees they would be charging me while I was exhausted from a long drive.

The bed was not supportive for my back—I had pain for several days after my stay.

Fantastic Stay!
Pros:

The hotel room is very nice and clean. The staff from front desk, door person, bell person, and bar/restaurant (waiters, bartenders) are wonderful. They gave their upmost attention to us.

Not luxury
Pros:

Locked out of my room due to door battery fail for over an hour. Lack of communication between front desk, security, and supervisor. Was sent up and down to 11th floor and long hallway told door would work at least 3 different occasions in a span of over an hour and each trip it didn't. Spent more time riding the elevator and trying to retrieve my change of clothing/cell phone than enjoying visit. Key failed again next morning. No compensation and was told director of operation "decision skills" can't be rushed when I asked for clarity. Lounge put 20% grat on all checks but failed to give service or check back as dirty/empty dishes piled up and had to seek people out to order more food/drinks both at night and 11:30 in afternoon when not busy. Supervisor lacked sincerity or genuine care.

Excelente opção em Philly!
Pros:

Tudo. Hotel bem cuidado, limpo, bem localizado. Bom café de manhã e serviço de bar/restaurante bem legal.

Cons:

Poucos garçons no café da manhã. Os pedidos demorava porque os funcionários estavam claramente assoberbados.

Best stranding ever
Pros:

We got stranded in Philly when a connecting flight got cancelled. We feel so lucky that it happened after such an amazing stay at this hotel! The service was phenomenal. The room was absolutely top notch. High-end finishes, spotless, no odors, comfy bed and pillows... the whole package! Last-minute price was unbeatable, but, in retrospect, I would've gladly paid double.
