A very pleasant three night stay
Pros:

Loved the breakfast. The fine dining was a worthwhile experience, with excellent food and service

Pros:

Das Personal war überaus zuvorkommend, aufmerksam und freundlich ! Service war perfekt, super gutes Fruhstück!

Cons:

Die Palastzimmer sind Renovierungsbedürftig, sehr laute Klimaanlage und knarrende Holzböden! Wir konnten aber, am nächsten Tag, in ein Spazimmer wechseln das sehr komfortabel und sehr gut ausgestattet war!

Pros:

Un loc plin de magie. O poveste de iubire tragica
Gradiniile foarte frumoase si foarte bine intretinute
Un palat vechi tranaformat intr un hotel muzeu.
Saloane , librarie , chiat si o capela.
Coridoare cu fotografii, tablouri,. litografii, ...

Cons:

Putin cam departe de centrul istoric.

Would definitely return
Pros:

Absolutely beautiful hotel full of history set in idyllic gardens away from the hustle and bustle of Coimbra. A taxi ride from the university and town (5euros). Very easy parking. Large welcoming pool area. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming-a big shout out to the ‘sommelier’(we didn’t catch her name) who was so enthusiastic about the wines she served and really seemed to enjoy sharing her vast knowledge. Every meal was good( the pool bar); however our evening meal in the restaurant was quite an experience-the food was exceptional whilst the waiting staff were very attentive.

Cons:

Our room was in the modern extension which was fine, but the bathroom could do with updating-a small grumble.

Muito boa experiência
Pros:

Receção, apresentação do edifício , simpatia de todos funcionários contactados , limpeza , piscina exterior com comodidade e piscina interior na realidade aquecida

Cons:

O circuito de comunicação entre partes , passa por zona de Congressos e Convénios , constrangedor se vem do spa ou piscinas de Robe .

Het buitenzwembad met veel comfortabele (schaduw) ligplaatsen in een prachtig onderhouden tuin met rijke historie en een buitenbar met zeer attente barman,bakje chips bij drankjes zonder erom te vragen doet ‘t bij ons altijd goed!Buiten ontbijten met vers gebakken eitje/pancake en bediening van koffie naar keuze

Saaie kamer in lelijke aanbouw ,er was niets aanwezig wat een verschil maakt in 5* hotel.Bv.geen koffiecup machine

Décor de château, magnifique dans un espace champêtre
Pros:

L'hôtel est un ancien château avec énormément de chambre où nous pouvons nous prélasser lire, il y a même une bibliothèque avec de nombreux ouvrages que nous pouvons lire autour de l'hôtel il y a un grand jardin, on peut visiter une Fontaine un petit terrain de golf, un endroit très champêtre, magnifique, très naturel.
Tout le personnel a été très agréable avec nous, notamment avec notre bébé, ce qui était très appréciable.

Cons:

Ce que nous avons moins aimé, c'est le niveau de service de certains collaborateurs, notamment au restaurant et au bar qui laissait parfois à désirer. les chambres côté spa dans le nouveau bâtiment sont très spacieux, mais vieille moquette pour être mieux décoré, rafraîchit au vu du potentiel des lieux. À la fin de notre séjour lors du Checkout on ne nous a pas demandé comment s'était passé notre séjour. Nous insistons toutefois sur le fait que le personnel est très chaleureux, sympathique et serviable.
