We enjoyed our stay, have recommended it to friends and would go back there again
Pros:

The hotel was in a quiet location with large private grounds. The room was of a good size and the bed was comfortable. The whole hotel was kept clean and tidy. There was a spa but unfortunately we didnt have time to use it.

Cons:

The hotel was about a 1.5 miles from the city center which is not normally a problem as there is a tram stop a few minutes walk away. However due to road works the tram wasnt running across the bridge so we ended up walking both ways as the taxi was quite expensive (25 Euro each way). The hotel restaurant food was good with a limited menu which was only changed monthly so if staying more than a couple of days could be repetitive.

Adequaat hotel voor op doorreis, maar niet voor langer verblijf.

Goede, ruime kamer met zeer goed werkende airco.

Cons:

Hotel staat in een parkje waar ook een bejaardentehuis zit met 2 gebouwen. De spa faciliteiten zitten tussen de 2 gebouwen van het bejaardentehuis in en lijken gedeeld te worden. Faciliteiten waren extreem klein en erg warm. Echt een tegenvaller. Het voelde ook onveilig. Tijdens ons verblijf viel de stroom uit in het gehele gebouw. Het duurde een aantal uur voordat het weer aan was. Het personeel gaf aan dit niet eerder te hebben meegemaakt en wisten ook niet hoe lang het nog zou duren. Achteraf geen sorry of vergoeding voor gehad.

Très bel hôtel à découvrir
Pros:

Un très bel écrin de verdure décoré de belles œuvres d'art. Chambres spacieuses et très bien équipées. Très bon restaurant proposant des plats végétariens. Une piscine couverte.

À éviter pour une étape avec enfants à cause des restrictions d’accès à la piscine
Pros:

Chambre familiale très spacieuse. Petite cuisine avec four à micro-ondes dans la chambre.

Cons:

Il n’est pas clair lors d’une réservation sur téléphone portable que la piscine est interdite aux enfants de 18h à 21h. Dans la partie Équipements, il est indiqué que la piscine est ouverte jusque 21h et que tous les âges sont les bienvenus. Il faut lire la description de l’hôtel en bas de la page pour se rendre compte de l’interdiction. Outre la mauvaise communication, je trouve cette politique discriminatoire car elle exclut les enfants (et par conséquent leurs parents) d’un équipement pourtant inclus dans l’offre de l’hôtel. Cette restriction est d’autant plus incompréhensible que les familles représentent une part importante de la clientèle. À Tours, ville fréquemment utilisée comme étape sur la route des vacances, de nombreux voyageurs arrivent en fin d’après-midi après plusieurs heures de trajet. C’est précisément à ce moment-là que les enfants souhaitent profiter de la piscine. Les priver de cet accès va à l’encontre de l’esprit d’un hôtel familial et de l’accueil qui devrait être donné aux familles dans notre société.
