Luxurious base for a stay in Plettenberg
Pros:

The hotel location on top of the cliffs overlooking the sea is great. The hotel is well fitted out and the rooms spacious and very comfortable. Early morning tea or coffee brought to the room is a very pleasant way to start the day. Breakfast buffet was varied and delicious.

Um dos melhores hotéis que já ficamos.
Pros:

Hotel com ótima localização, muito bonito e limpo. Fomos muito bem recebidos pela equipe que nos mostrou o lugar, nos ofereceram uma pequena garrafa de espumante pela nossa comemoração e foram solicitos em todo o momento. Restaurante do hotel, tanto para café da manhã quanto para jantar é muito gostoso e equipe com ótimo atendimento. Cama muito boa, chuveiro de qualidade e wifi gratuito funcionando. Fomos de carro, estacionamento fica localizado na rua porém sempre com seguranças. Localização ótima, com boas vistas da praia e próximo a lojas e restaurantes da cidade.

One of the best hotels in which I've ever stayed!
Pros:

The Plettenburg Hotel was absolutely amazing. We were only there two nights and I wish I had booked a longer visit. The hotel itself is spotless, and hearkens back to a gentler time with overstuffed couches and exquisite decor. The staff was so helpful and friendly, and the food at the restaurant was phenomenal (both breakfast and dinner). Having breakfast on the patio and watching the sun come up over the infinity edge pool over the ocean was breathtaking.

Fabulous, fantastic luxury hotel for a great price.
Pros:

We stayed at this fabulous hotel for 5 nights. The staff, room, food, parking in fact there is nothing bad could be said regarding this fantastic hotel. The staff were absolutely fantastic and the room was spotlessly cleaned every day. The food was so good that we ate in it every night, and there was a great choice to pick from. There is free parking which is manned by security staff 24/7. The location is just off a great beach and also within walking distance from the town centre. Brilliant hotel all round and definitely worth a visit. Thank you for a great time, and great staff

Pros:

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in awhile! Every detail was thought through, and the staff were very kind and helpful. Special shout out to Chantel who really took care of us, ensuring we had a great vacation.

Wonderful Hotel
Pros:

Absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. Full of character and charm. Probably my favourite hotel of the past 40+ years of travel. I especially thought the staff were the warmest and friendliest I've come across.

Outstanding hotel all round
Pros:

The Plettenberg deserves a perfect score. From management across the board including all staff members, service is exceptional.
Entire property is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and very well maintained.
Food of a very high standard, both delicious and well presented.
Outstanding service from the travel desk who arranged our airport shuttle with a very professional company.

A brilliant hotel
Pros:

This is an outstanding hotel in a wonderful setting in Plettenberg Bay. Staff and service were excellent and the food was exceptional. Our only criticism was the lack of ramps for disabled persons and this caused us great embarrassment when we invited mobility impaired guests for lunch.

Pros:

We woke up to a stunning sunrise over the Indian Ocean, and dolphins playing in the surf below the cliffs where the hotel is located. Incredibly memorable.

Nettes, hilfsbereites Personal, gutes Frühstück, schöne Zimmer

Cons:

Viel zu wenige Liegebetten an den Pools, nicht bewirtschaftet, viele sind Stunden unbesetzt, aber reserviert. Hier braucht es bei schönem Wetter unbedingt einen Pool Manager!!
