Restaurant is very spacious. Dimmed lights (the chandeliers gave too much light) and darker walls would definitely create a more cozy feeling.

Rarely will you be treated as well as this by hotel staff.
Pros:

We were greeted by name everywhere we went, as in Mr and Mrs. Vary polite staff and clearly know how to impress and provide a decorum befitting such an establishment. The room was in a converted barn type building, or old staff cottages, and consisted of 3 room. A bedroom, bathroom and a lounge. Complimentary bottle of wine was in the room on arrival. All meals were extra on the cost of the room and this doubled the overall cost of the stay. The food was fabulous especially the Spicy Mince for breakfast (3x I had that).
The wine list was comprehensive with in house grape varieties that hit the spot. Whisky selection was the best we've seen anywhere from run of the mill Jamesons to McCallan 12 year. Check the list as some were £25 a shot! After checkout we we're allowed to leave the car and go walking in town before returning to kill some time in the bar area before heading for CPT airport. This is the place to go for some luxury at the end of a long road trip.

Overall very good.
Pros:

Very comfortable and beautiful. Lovely attention to detail.

Cons:

The restaurant unfortunately is not quite up to the same standard as the hotel itself. Table service, although very friendly, is sorely lacking in some of the fundamentals of hospitality. A short course in the basics of table service would not go amiss.

Pros:

Außergewöhnliche einfach mal zum Abschalten und die Tolle Aussicht inhalieren

Cons:

Das Hotel besticht durch die überschauberkeit, dem überaus freundlichem Personal, der genialen Lage, dem sehr guten Essen und Trinken. Den einzigen Fehler den man machen kann es bei Verfügbarkeit nicht zu buchen.

Entspannte uns schöne Tage in einzigartiger Lage
Pros:

Die Lage ist einzigartig. Der Blick auf die Weinberge und das Gebirge im Hintergrund gepaart mit den schönen reetgedeckten Häusern - grandios. Das Personal ist freundlich und es blieb kein Wunsch unerfüllt. Der größere Pool ist ein toller Platz um sich zu entspannen und die Sonne zu genießen. Die Frühstücksauswahl ist super und wir haben es genossen draußen auf der Terrasse ausgiebig zu frühstücken.

Pros:

Staff were amazing. Wade, Manelise and a few waitresses in the restaurant. Facilities were beyond luxurious. Spa treatment was outstanding.
