Our first time we checked in we were told our reservation was at the other Holiday in. Went to the other holiday inn and they didn’t have our reservation. Eventually called booking.com they called and we did have the reservation at the first stop. The receptionist didn’t apologize said nothing about sending us to a different place than a room was wide above where there was a wedding reception in the music was loud until about 11 o’clock between those two. It was the worst day I’ve ever had.
Clean and updated
Everyone tried their best but most employees were on their first day of work there ever! Lots of confusion! When we checked in, we were told nothing about the property and not given our breakfast vouchers until we came back to ask about restaurants. It says you have two restaurants - nope - not true, You have a bar with a lounge area to eat dinner or breakfast. Very weird and food was awful. We booked a king room and were given a handicapped room - okay, but the bathroom had a bathtub - not handicapped equipped. That needs to be changed. It should be a walk in shower situation.
No free breakfast
I booked online for 133 and was charged 133 when I put my card the guy there say I would get it back in few days it’s been almost one month and I still have two charges of 133 on my card
The property is very nice and the staff is excellent
Property looked brand new and clean
Loved the bed and clean
It was clean
No pool and that was not advertised and I drove 7 hours expecting a pool.
Location off I-95 was easily accessible with several choices of places to eat without having to travel. Having recently been remodeled the facility was extremely clean. The staff was extremely knowledgeable about the area and recommended several places for us to attend. They were spot on with their recommendations and best places to park for the handicapped accessibility we needed.
The beds were very comfortable.
The facility advertised with a pool, but upon arriving due to recent renovations the pool had been demolished. A nice patio setting was placed where the pool was, but we had booked our reservations on knowledge of a swimming pool and would have chosen another facility if we knew that before we registered. When traveling on vacation with kids they need something to wear off the built up energy.
The guest bathrooms water faucets see to close to the back of the sink causing for the water to puddle up on the sink under the faucet. This also caused the water to flow around the sink.
There was no one on staff at night for necessary maintenance such as a toilet that wouldn’t flush.
Clean and location great!
The staff was great with what they had to work with. Water pressure was good. Tre Barnes, the assistant manager, was excellent apologizing to all visitors while the owner walked around ignoring the chaos around him.
Once we arrived, it was obvious the hotel was not ready to open. It had gone through a renovation. No continental breakfast, no bar, no restaurant. No trash cans on the premises. No soap in public bathrooms. Reservations was for 3 people, including a sofa bed. Had to retrieve linen and make that bed myself. Needed to ask for towels, toilet paper. Elevators were not working one day and we were on the third floor. There were no phones in the room and if you had an issue, you had to walk down to the front desk. The smoke detector was wrapped in shrink wrap and when I mentioned it was a Fire Marshall violation, nothing was done. Overall the hotel tried to open early for a holiday weekend and overcharged its customers with the full rate when none of the amenities were available.
