Lovely hotel in a great location
Pros:

Beautiful hotel. Lovely staff. Fantastic cocktails in the bar.
Great location.

Cons:

Bath water was tepid, still useable for a shower but not warm enough to have a long bath.
Waiting for a lift in the mornings took over 5 minutes.

Our room was in 1401 and I think it was next to where the water tank is, I can always hear the water noise when the tank is refilling so it was annoying and interrupted my sleep

Would definitely recommend to friends and family a lovely property
Pros:

Very central, lovely and clean , comfortable, not noisy and everything that you’d expect in a quality hotel. Public transport so close yet walking distance to so many attractions. Vivid light show was awesome and the city shops a stroll away. Happy hour and lunch specials also very good value and delicious food.

Cons:

Desk staff with conflicting requests about a deposit on my card.. one said $50 and then I noticed $100 taken out of my card.. usually just a held amount.. also now been home 4 days and final amount owing still not finalised.. also No itemised print out at checking out time.

Stay at swissotel
Pros:

The room and bathrooms were lovely and clean. Staff were polite, warm, and welcoming. Love that we can check our luggage in early and it went to our room for us. We had a drink in the lounge and was lovely.
The beds were comfortable.
Location is great.

Cons:

The pillows were very uncomfortable. We only had two normal pillows and two European pillows for 3 people. We found the pillows too firm.
The lifts took forever, and one was broken on both sides. There are no stairs available to take.
Smells a bit like urine when you enter the building from the street.

Great location for easy access to all main places in Sydney
Pros:

Awesome location - easy to access from light rail and trains - great location close to QVB, darling harbour and central city
Staff friendly and helpful

Cons:

Nothing about the property as such but didn’t find the concierge services overly helpful with large bags etc - the concierge from across the road hotel offered to help but Swissotel staff didn’t
