If this hotel is at all an option then choose it. You won’t regret it.
Pros:

Location perfect. Breakfast wonderful and luxurious. This is a grand luxury hotel and it oozes quality and craftsmanship from the lobby to our room. Hotel becomes part of the holiday experience as opposed to to merely a place to sleep or store luggage.

Easy, comfortable and fun
Pros:

Perfect location, amazing breakfast and amenities. Staff were nice and responsive.

Cons:

Not the hotels fault but there were so many mosquitoes at breakfast if you wanted to enjoy it at the garden!

Totally NOT worth for the price. Will never come back.

The location Is in the city center but sadly most taxi driver do not know the place.

Cons:

The service is terrible in comparing to its price. The hotel is under renovation and the sound of the drills was hard to unnotice. We checked in around 16:30 and the room is still not ready. We checked in three people but only two sets of dental knits, robes, slippers and towels are provided. Even under requests, the supplies were provided after two more phone calls and one in person request.

We had a fantastic experience at Hotel El Palace Barcelona. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. From the moment you walk through the doors, you immediately begin to relax.

The staff are truly exceptional. They go above and beyond not only to ensure your stay is memorable, but to make you feel like you're part of the El Palace family. From the front desk and concierge to the team that personally welcomes you and introduces you to the hotel, every interaction feels warm, genuine, and attentive. It's the kind of hospitality that defines a true five-star experience.

The rooms are spacious, elegant, and beautifully appointed. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, the rooms stay refreshingly cool, and the marble bathrooms are luxurious, with some featuring dual shower heads.

The rooftop pool and restaurant offer stunning views of Barcelona and provide the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring the city.

I have no doubt I'll return to Hotel El Palace Barcelona whenever my travels bring me back to Barcelona. It's also become one of my top recommendations for clients looking for a luxury hotel in the city. You leave feeling refreshed, cared for, and like you've become part of the El Palace family.

Pros:

De ligging en het interieur.

Cons:

Het ontbijt is niet uitgebreid voor een 5 sterren. 45 euro betaal je en wil je een specifieke omelet of toast met avocado dan betaal je bij en voor de toast was dit 14 euro! Ik wens graag te betalen voor kwaliteit en voor een 5 sterren hotel mag dit inclusief zijn.

We had a wonderful experience at the rooftop restaurant and bar at El Palace Barcelona. A special thank you to Samantha, who made our evening truly memorable. She was incredibly friendly, genuinely warm, and exceptionally service-oriented. She always had a smile on her face and consistently went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Her professionalism and kindness made our dinner even more enjoyable.

The food was excellent, the rooftop atmosphere was beautiful, and the service was outstanding. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, and every member of the staff we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating.

I would highly recommend El Palace Barcelona to anyone planning a visit to Barcelona.
