Rather odd experience
Pros:

We were in town for a 1 day conference at a local university. Property is in an office park which seems to be almost deserted. Surface roads were crumbly. It is away from everything - not a bad thing as it was quiet over night. No room upgrades available - hmm very few cars in the lot. Checked in - the restaurant/bar were not open so no food of any kind no complimentary breakfast - there was a somewhat stocked "pantry" and the hot beverage machine was out of order. The coffee maker in the room was fine. We were provided with a list of local establishments - closest place was 10 to 15 minute drive away. The room itself was clean and the bed was fine. Furniture etc was showing wear. It you are just passing through it is a quiet place to catch some sleep

Horrible experience
Pros:

I stayed at this hotel in Milwaukee and honestly it felt like a prank that never ended. The room smelled like someone microwaved socks and then forgot about them for a week. The carpet had mysterious stains that looked like they were part of the decor at this point. I didn’t even want to take my shoes off, which says a lot.

The bed was somehow both rock hard and uneven, like sleeping on a lumpy brick. The pillows were so flat I’m pretty sure they were just folded napkins in disguise. I woke up feeling worse than when I went to sleep, which I didn’t think was possible.

The “free breakfast” was a sad lineup of stale cereal and something that might have been eggs at one point in its life. The coffee tasted like regret. I took one sip and immediately reconsidered all my life choices.

Staff acted like I was inconveniencing them just by existing. I asked for extra towels and it felt like I was requesting a personal favor from royalty. Took forever, and when they finally came, they were basically sandpaper.

Overall, I would not recommend this place unless you enjoy disappointment, weird smells, and questioning your decisions. Plenty of better options in Milwaukee—this one just isn’t it.
