duidelijk geen ****hotel meer, sterk verouderd. Wel een leuke plek, direct bij gezellige terrassen.
Pros:

Ruime badkamer met bad en de locatie. Dichtbij een park, leuke terrasjes en treinstation. Attente service voor vervangen handdoeken. Personeel allemaal wel aardig en van goede wil (maar heeft helaas matige leidinggevenden).

Cons:

In dit viersterrenhotel - haal er gerust maar een sterretje af - heeft men een speciale opvatting over wat een hotel- ofwel wisselschakelaar is. Alleen als een schakelaar bij je bed in een bepaalde stand staat (kamer 207) werkt de schakelaar van de badkamer. Het glazen badscherm zit aan de onderkant in een metalen gootje (u-profiel) dat een beetje uitsteekt. Enorm scherpe punten dus waar je al dan niet volledig naakte lichaam (en dan uiteraard de meeste kans daarop) zich makkelijk aan open haalt zodat je dan zeer verheugd eindelijk eens een van je meegenomen pleisters kunt gebruiken. Het raam dat je het liefste zou willen openen met daartoe duidelijk aanwezige scharnieren met hendel/deurkruk was hermetisch afgesloten. Matige ontbijtservice. Steeds wisselend personeel dat slecht wordt aangestuurd, en (daardoor) passief en ongemotiveerd is. Toen iemand een ochtend niet was komen opdagen, greep de (aanwezige) leiding pas laat in en nam diens taak over. Tafeltjes waren niet eens afgeruimd voor de volgende ontbijtgasten. Het (enige) bruine brood tijdens ons 4daags verblijf was niet vers en leek gewoon van de vorige dag(en). Je moest te vaak om dingen vragen die opgeraakt (borden) of er helemaal niet waren (eierdopjes en -lepeltjes voor veel te zacht gekookte zachtgekookte eieren) of werden niet snel genoeg aangevuld (beleg, fruitsalade). Een volautomatisch koffieapparaat kost tegenwoordig niets meer, maar daar nog een museumstuk met pistons en een aparte koffiemaler (die je niet zelf kon/mocht bedienen terwijl daarvoor ook niet steeds iemand aanwezig was). Bij inchecken word je al direct met ingebouwd wantrouwen geconfronteerd.
