Holiday Inn Milwaukee Airport by IHG

The outside area by the pool was small and not well service and we got locked out in a fenced area. Took a bit of banging on the door to get someone's attention.

For a very busy weekend with Irish Fest, there was one chef in the kitchen and one waitress. A continental breakfast would’ve been just fine. We booked two rooms, one room the bed was full of urine when they went to sleep, didn’t notice that it was urine until halfway through the night. The toilet was leaking as well in that room.
The second room had a full out couch with food in it and someone else’s shorts. Also did not have a mattress to sleep on for the couch. The bathroom was not stocked with shampoo in the shower, only conditioner. Thankfully we had some in a travel bottle.

Pool so crowded they ran out of pool towels. Drainage perimeter around pool not draining , saw 2 people slip from standing water from drain line not working. Luckily they were both young kids so it didn’t faze them, they had bendy bones. They weren’t running but extra water made flooring slippery. Definitely a potential hazard for adults though.

Getting dated.

The rooms are filthy. The carpet needs to go. There was a constant humidity in the room. They desperately need DE-humidifiers. The rooms need an overhaul. More dresser space is needed. The beds need to be replaced. They are old and lumpy. Ancient. Get new mattresses. This is not only my experience but also the commentary of my friends and relatives who also stayed here. Our feet were black walking on the room carpet. Remove the carpeting and overhaul the rooms and get new mattresses as soon as possible.

The beds and pillows are horrible. The beds are lumpy and old and uncomfortable. Horrible night’s sleeps. Pillows and mattresses need to be replaced. I had 5 other guests say the same. The pillows are too hard or too soft. The carpet in the rooms made our socks and feet dirty. And the rooms all need a DE-HUMIDIFIER. EVERYTHING was sticky and towels did not dry. The rooms need a makeover. They also need more dresser space.

Ich kann die Meinung vieler hier nicht teilen. Obwohl wir mit Frühstück gebucht hatten, mussten wir uns Coupons erkämpfen. Dann konnte man genau einen Kaffee und ein Gericht auswählen, alles andere musste man bezahlen.
Auch wurden wir leider am ersten Tag über die Menge der French Toast nicht aufgeklärt und haben zu zweit 16 Stück bestellt. Die Dame im Speisesaal war sehr lustlos.
Am zweiten Tag Gottseidank eine andere Mitarbeiterin, die super nett half. Aber nun wussten wir ja auch wie’s funktioniert.
Sehr schade man könnte mehr draus machen.
Geldscheffelei beim Frühstück bei den Hotelpreisen, besonders wenn ich schon mit Frühstück gebucht habe, finde ich frech.

Yes the breakfast staff only had 1 person taking food orders which caused long delays in you getting your food. I imagined that it had only 1 cook as well.

Everything was all right!

The pool area, specifically the hot tub was dirty. We are traveling from a different time zone and ended up in the pool unintentionally before it officially opened. A staff member scolded us for being in the pool too early as cleaning is done. We promptly left and returned later to see if cleaning, which included mounds of sand in the hot tub and it was still present. So, after being scolded, cleaning still wasn't completed.
