The staff wasn’t any help and the hotel didn’t have any entertainment.
Pros:

The bed was comfortable and the ac worked great. Great location.

Cons:

The tv did not work and we were not accommodated for that and it rained earlier in the day but the pool remained closed the whole day so all we could do when we were at the hotel was lay and look at the ceilings.

I paid a lot of money for a hotel that is in the process of being renovated which was not stated in booking. Floors were disgusting, hair in my bed, bathroom door didn't close, unsafe, homeless people camping out around building. No late check out, making touring the FSU impossible. Wrong place to start your visit to the city. Never want to come back to this town.

Checking in the dude was very rude. He didn’t wanna work. He wouldn’t look up at us. He just checked us and basically threw everything at us. He didn’t want to be there at all.

Definitely not worth it.
Pros:

mattress was surprisingly comfortable

There was mold on ceiling in several areas, lighting was not great especially since the switch on wall as come into room did not work so had to remember to leave lights on or would be entering in the dark. The shower curtain did not close properly so shower water got all over the floor. The doors to the rooms stuck so it was incredibly loud at all hours of day and night when different people came and went into various rooms. When I entered the hotel there was a sign on front door which was concerning - "no public bathrooms and breakfast is for paying customers only" - indicated there was a problem with people off the street entering the premises which did not make me feel very safe. There was also a sign that stated there may or may not be working wifi due to construction which would have been nice to know ahead of booking rather than after I had booked and did not have the ability to cancel the reservation. This was one of the worst stays I've had in a long time anywhere.

Very Disappointing Stay

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was a very disappointing experience. We were in Tallahassee to move my son into college, and after a long day, we simply wanted to relax and watch some TV in our room. Unfortunately, the television did not work properly, and there was no guide or clear way to figure out how to use it.

When I went to the front desk for help, two employees were sitting far away and did not even get up to assist me. I was told that the problem was with the internet, which was not true. I later learned from other guests that some of the rooms had smart TVs, while ours did not. At this point, having a TV that doesn’t function properly is very disappointing.

What was even worse was the attitude of the staff. They were rude, dismissive, and made me feel uncomfortable. I personally felt that there was a racial element to the way I was treated. Throughout our stay, I heard many other guests complaining about different issues, and the staff seemed unwilling or unable to help.

The hotel was also much dirtier than it appeared in the pictures. The elevator and carpets were dirty, and overall the property did not feel well maintained.

The only positive experience we had was with the two maintenance employees who actually took the time to help us and explain what was going on. The breakfast staff were also kind and welcoming, always greeting guests with a smile.

Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was very unpleasant. After traveling to Tallahassee to move my son into college, we were hoping for a comfortable place to rest, but even something as simple as watching TV in our room was impossible.

I would not recommend staying here. The customer service and overall condition of the hotel were extremely disappointing.
