They need to have a deep cleaning in the rooms.
Pros:

The light switches were hard to find. And when I looked under the bed, it was filthy, including a chicken bone.

The Bates motel sucks. Horrible place all the way around!
Pros:

NOTHING!!!! We arrived at the hotel I was told the was a $150 deposit for each room. The employee pointed at a sign on the desk. Then we went to our rooms. The hot water was almost cold. My TV did not work. I went down stair the employee said he would send maintenance up. I took a shower and waited on maintenance they never showed. I went back down stairs and talked to employee he said they told me they came and fixed it. We went to dinner and, I asked my team about the condition of their room. They said they did not have hot water but the tv worked. After dinner I went to my room no TV. I went back down stairs another employee is at the desk. I explained the situation she gave me 2 room keys and told me to go check the rooms to see if the TV work. The first room (2 doors down from my room) tv didn't work. I went and got the second key for the second room and another guest was complaining about the same thing. I went to the 4th floor to the second room im checked and the TV worked. Im headed back down stairs when I passed the resident from the front desk. She said what kind of hotel is this I shook my head in disbelief. She said this is the modern day Bates motel. I transferred my belongings to the new room and I started looking at the walls and ceilings this place was falling apart and disgusting. I dropped the key for the first room off at the front desk. Thats when I saw German roaches on the floor in the lobby. I told the clerk the roaches was on the floor. The next morning I went down stairs to load up the truck. I saw my team standing at the door where the hotel had breakfast. I was disappointed again. I told them grab their bags and lets get out of their. I took the to a restaurant to eat. I explained to them my experience after dinner. I had to apologize to them for the accommodations. As a new small busy this was our first trip out of town. I was embarrassed this dump used the Wyndham name as a play on words. They trick people with the name.

Cons:

The room was dirty, the bed had clearly been used by a previous guest, the bathroom was dirty, and the shower water was cold. There was no housekeeping staff available to change the bed linens when requested.
