Room was excellent, staff were super friendly and the restaurant evening food was amazing

Excellent stay, comfortable and quiet, staff all very helpful and attentive. Just one niggle about the room: please do consider installing in it a small safe for valuables, an American guest I spoke to during my stay also commented on this.

We attended this hotel for our daughter’s wedding & it was fantastic from the start of planning, preparations to the actual wedding day. The day was fab & ran like clockwork which is a credit to all the staff involved.- great teamwork everyone.
The food, service & attention to detail were amazing.
Our overnight stay was so comfortable & a great breakfast choice to add the finishing touch.
Be proud of the service you provide as we received very positive feedback from our wedding quests.

Gorgeous rooms, very clean and beautifully presented. Everything you could possibly need was provided. Bed was huge and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious- would definitely recommend a stay here.

We enjoyed our friend's wedding at this venue. The venue was lovely. Beautiful venue for a wedding and high end bedrooms. The grounds and the extras added to its charm.

I was at a wedding. The soup was lovely, main course was woeful, dessert okay. Numerous guests including myself asked for the heating to be put on but it seemed to fall on deaf ears. Considering it was December and there was a visible frost on the ground I don't think it was asking too much. I sat with my coat wrapped around my legs during the meal, some people had scarves on. The toilet area was so cold that I couldn't even pee!! I can honestly say that I have never experienced anything like it. With the prices they charge and boast to be a 4 star hotel I am sure they could well afford to heat place.
The heating was etheventually switched on after 8pm, by this stage I had my coat on and was heading home. This was my first and most probably my last visit to the Clandeboye Lodge.

From Reception to breakfast the next day the service was excellent . We got access to our room in advance of the arrival date , the room was “standard” in name but excellent size , decor and facilities ! Woke up and were really pleased with both the breakfast , surroundings and staff.

Staff were absolute lovely people went way over & beyond in every aspect. The hotel itself is beautiful, well run, & very clean. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough, first class. Will definitely be back again.

Quality and value of food. Separate wedding building from the hotel. The manicured garden, trees and shrubs were excellent.

Wonderful hotel, we stayed 2 nights as it was my son’s wedding venue.
The moment we walked in the staff could not do enough for you, friendly, polite. We arrived very early in the morning on the overnight ferry, the receptionist let us hang wedding outfits, Grooms men suits etc in an area and then put them in our room ready for us, sorry I cannot remember your name.
Rooms were immaculate well done housekeeping staff, not an easy job I know.
The wedding venue was amazing, Marvin looked after the bride and groom through out the ceremony and into the night. He was brilliant very personable.
Food is amazing both in the restaurant and wedding food, portions were very generous again staff were very quick to get the food out and to clear away.
On the whole I cannot recommend this venue enough either for a stay or a wedding venue.
Management you have some amazing staff well done to all of you I wish you continued success.

We had our wedding at Clandeboye Lodge mid June 2026 and it was fantastic from start to finish!
Our venue tour was hosted by the amazing Gia. The venue sells itself, but Gia’s knowledge, expertise and effortless enthusiasm is what truly led us to picking Clandeboye Lodge for our wedding.
Throughout the planning process, we were guided by the fantastic Ian and Lorraine who perfected everything for us! Nothing was too much hassle and any requests we had were met with ease.
The day itself was fantastic and ran so smoothly thanks to all of the staff, but especially our amazing MC Bradley.
The ceremony space is spectacular, the gardens are stunning for photographs and the reception spaces are beautiful. The food was also fantastic, and has been a real talking point for our guests!
We cannot thank the team enough for all of their hard work in making our day so special! If you are looking for a first class wedding venue, look no further.
