Room had everything I needed - coffee machine, slippers, toiletries, even a chocolate bar! Bed was super comfy - I slept so well. Room was clean, quiet and just the right temperature. The hotel is so stylish with lots of original features such as beautiful tiles and even a lovely old-fashioned gated lift! Lounge area was really nice. Staff were very welcoming and helpful.
The shower was scalding hot even on the lowest setting. Not much of a view (ie just!looked out onto another part of the hotel).

There was no hot water, but the customer service to deal with it was amazing,
Location.
The room. Room felt basic and lacked any atmosphere. Coffee making facilities were extremely loud and could be heard in the next room. Our room 310 had an odour in it that was hard to describe. We paid on check in and were contacted after we left to say we hadn’t paid. We then had to provide a screen shot of the payment to prove we had paid before they would accept that we had paid
We had a lovely stay for just one night. It was very walkable and in a good location. Bed was comfy and we had all we needed.
The room was smaller but it is an older building so that is quite normal.

Noise from the street
The refurb is beautiful. The building is stunning with a gorgeous interior staircase circling around the vintage lift which is still functioning. The current aesthetic respects the structure’s original features, which is wonderful.
The staff are helpful and very kindly allowed me to check in early.
The restaurant (Celentano’s) downstairs was perfect for dinner: great food, lovely staff and a cozy atmosphere. I didn’t have time to try the bar on the other side of the reception area, but it looked very inviting, with warm lighting and a relaxed, elegant vibe.
Breakfast (also in Celentano’s) was nice.
The bed was extremely comfortable with lovely bedlinen. The fairly minimal but warm décor was very tastefully done, and I loved the colour scheme. All in all, the room was lovely and the high ceilings gave a sense of more space.
Absolutely fantastic location in the heart of the city.
Plumbing problem in room 310. The water in the shower kept going from warm to cold without warning and without me touching the temperature control. It seemed to be impossible to get the hot water running properly in the shower.
TV only had YouTube, Netflix and one more subscription only channel. No other channels available unfortunately.
No safe or minibar in the room, which I found a bit strange.
Great little hairdryer provided by the hotel (much better than your average hotel hairdryer), but nowhere to plug it in anywhere close to a mirror, so I dried my hair using the reflection from the TV screen and plugged the hairdryer into the coffee machine socket next to the TV. An extension cord could be a solution to this problem if the mirror can’t be moved or a socket installed beside the mirror.

We had a wonderful stay at the Art House Hotel and honestly couldnot speak more highly of the experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were absoluteloy lovely, so warm, welcoming and kind and accommodation.
The location, the decoration was stylish . The restaurant was amazing. Late check out .
The bar closed early .it closes around 10.30 pm .
