Good but mouldy pillow
Pros:

The stuff for the children

Cons:

I had a mouldy pillow. When complained she didnt say anything other than an apology. And they expected my child to sleep on it.

Pros:

The rooms were big, very clean and had everything you could want. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. The hotel as a whole was lovely and would definitely return if visiting this area again.

Cons:

We had the sharing plate desert and we felt for the price it wasn't great. Let the meal down to be honest. Everything seemed shop brought on the plate apart from maybe the brownies. And for £16 very over priced. Only thing that really wasn't upto standard the whole wkend.

Pros:

Easy access to motorway, laid out well, although lifts are only at one end, so elderly people or hard of movement would struggle unless close to lifts.
Very pleasant staff. Pleasant spa and good price for residents.
Chef happy to ater for health and dietary needs.
Entrance and downstairs plush and modern showing luxury.

Cons:

No air-conditioning downstairs in restaurants or foyer. Bedroos very dated, tired, scruffy furniture , windows wouldn't open . Long walk to lift. No fresh water in restaurant it tasted stale.
Nice that all the staff spoke excellent English

Nice Friday night stay ! Helpful staff!

Cons:

Later check-in to hot room but sadly air conditioning had failed in heat wave.
At 8pm night manager looked at issue and we were thankfully moved . Nice receptionist from Wales !

A little frustrating to pay an extra £15 fee per person for use of nice spa which I did not see listed on Booking.com website ..

Short but superb stay, we will be back!
Pros:

We loved the modern decor and the white company toiletries, great location just off the M5. Lovely clean and welcoming pool. Great food, very impressed with this hotel!

Cons:

Could have done with more plugs which were easier to access by bedside tables
