Didn’t think there were enough loungers for amount of people in spa especially when paid extra per person for it but the pool and jacuzzi etc were good
Loved the curious kitchen, the staff were amazing, comfortable seats. The bartender was amazing. Food was delicious

This was by far the best spa experience I have had. I bought vouchers for my sister's 60th birthday present and went with her for the stay. The hotel is lovely and easily accessible from the motorway. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Rooms were lovely with a king-size bed and sofa area. Spotlessly clean. Coffee machine and kettle in room as well as complimentary biscuits. Fresh milk and water available from machines in corridors. Beds were so comfy and lovely toiletries provided for the shower. Robes and slippers provided and use of spa facilities from 12pm on day of check in. Our spa treatments were amazing and again, the staff in the spa were lovely. The spa relaxation room was also a lovely place to relax. The food was absolutely amazing, we had breakfast and generous allowance towards dinner with our package. The grounds were lovely and there were sun loungers available by the pond and outside the pool area. Although there were quite a few people at the hotel, nowhere seemed too busy. I can't wait to go back to the Aztec hotel and would definitely recommend.

Location was good for what we needed.
It was unclear to me that the hotel facilities (gym, spa and pool) were not included in the room rate. I’ve stayed before and it wasn’t an issue. I enquired about paying to add the facility, but the cost was absolutely outrageous. Pull out bed for my child was incredibly uncomfortable and unusable. Breakfast was bland and service poor.
Very unwelcoming receptionist, we were early and instead of welcoming me in and acting like a four star hotel said come back in a hour and then just looked at me and said ‘anything else’ spent the next hour trying to get alternative accommodation to no avail. We stayed and it was perfectly adequate. Couldn’t really get it out of my head how she spoke to me.

Poor service from staff - not efficient often no where to be found. Waited 40 minutes for sandwiches as the kitchen staff sent half the order and forgot.
On booking we were asked to immediately get in touch - 3 emails unresponsive until 20 minutes before arrival where I was told they couldn’t help me with two requests as I should have emailed earlier - which I had they just hadn’t responded. Very frustrating
One reception staff member was their saving grace on the last day - seemed to be the only person able to deliver helpful customer service and seemed to be putting out several issues from others as well
Me and my husband stayed here for a spa weekend, hotel it’s lovely, staff are really lovely. They have a milk machine in the hallway and mini milk bottles in the room fridge which I thought was such a great idea instead of little cartons that are never enough. I had two spa treatments by Julie, back massage and facial and they were great. Hoping to go back later in the year with my daughters
