Room was very small
Beautiful building. The room was spacious with good views of the city.
Compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in in Edinburgh including the Scotsman, Hotel du Vin, the Balmoral and the Caledonian (which are all in better locations) I’d say this hotel doesn’t come close in terms of luxury for the price. For over £350 for a night with no breakfast included, rooms that need a refurb with better soundproofing and poor finishing in the bathroom where previous repairs have been made and only one lift that is slow and needs replacement, I’d say this hotel is overpriced.
J'ai formulé quelques demandes spéciales en amont de notre venue et toutes ont été très bien honorées. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le confort et les nombreuses petites attentions à l'arrivée et tous les jours dans la chambre (chocolats, whisky, macarons, etc.) offerts dans la chambre. Le petit déjeuner était excellent. Le bâtiment et les chambres sont dans un style magnifique et très chaleureux.

Our room. Room #1 felt like I was in basement. Es not a garden view it was a stairwell view with plants. The smell of food from restaurant was most of the night. The room itself was nice
