Poor service and overpriced
Pros:

Nice bed and bathroom facilities

Cons:

Firstly, when we arrived, we went to the bar as we were meeting friends for a drink. There was no one around to serve us, and we had to ask for someone to come over and take our order. Once ordered, the drinks also took a considerable amount of time to arrive.

The following morning was even more disappointing. I needed to leave the hotel at around 8:30am, so I had specifically asked what time breakfast was available and requested 7:30am to give myself plenty of time. I was advised that the earliest breakfast could be served was 8:00am, which was fair enough, and I thought 30 minutes would still be sufficient to have something to eat before leaving.

Initially, we were among the first guests to arrive for breakfast, and a small selection of juice, granola and similar items was available to help ourselves to. However, it took around 10 minutes before a waitress came over to provide a menu and take our order for coffee, tea and toast.

At this point, more and more guests were arriving, and 25 minutes had now passed without our coffee or toast arriving. We still hadn’t even been able to order our cooked breakfast. Given the price point of the hotel, I was particularly surprised by this. The coffee was basic filter/press coffee, so I would have expected this to be very quick to prepare and serve.

Unfortunately, with the time approaching when I needed to leave, we had no choice but to abandon breakfast altogether. This was extremely disappointing, particularly given that this is not an inexpensive hotel and you would expect a much higher standard of service.

The issues weren’t really about the hotel being busy; they were about a lack of organisation and attentiveness. We were given an 8:00am breakfast time knowing that we needed to leave at 8:30am, yet the service was nowhere near quick enough to make that possible. Overall, the experience fell well below what I would expect for a hotel at this price point.

Junior suite bella, spaziosa, con un ampissimo bagno con vasca in travertino e doccia. Colazione ricca servita in una bellissima sala, personale tutto molto gentile. Spa ben organizzata. Posizione ottima.

We were surprised that you had to pay £10 pp to swim. This is the first time we’ve ever heard of this when staying in a spa hotel.
