Location. Design of the hotel.
Bedroom and bathroom weren't as clean as I would have expected for the price.
Absolutely stunning hotel. We requested a room with aircon as our stay was during the summer and the aircon was amazing. The highlight of this hotel is “The Pantry” on the 1st floor there is a selection of free crisp, fruit, sweets and soft drinks and if you time it right, pieces of homemade cake!!!
What a treat!!!

The TV didn’t work. Not a problem for me and the staff assured me they would check it for the next guest. The complimentary pantry was not as well stocked compared with a previous visit.

The location was great. Friendly staff and attentive. Room was wonderful and clean and overall the hotel was the highlight of our trip!
The hotel kept sending me a pre check-in link, asking me to share my bank card details, despite Booking.com telling me that the hotel would never ask me to do this via email or text and that I should be wary of doing so if they did. Made me feel a little uncomfortable because I also got another link on the morning I was due to check out asking if I wanted to pay early. The hotel and the room were lovely but it all just felt a bit strange.
Also, the breakfast wasn’t good. The pain au chocolat was £3.50 for something that felt like it had come from the Sainsbury’s local down the road. Also they forgot my husband’s orange juice and so he had to remind them.
