The entire grounds and property are stunning!
Very narrow roads to get there
Beautiful place very scenic. Breakfast was very nice
Not all the rooms have air-conditioning. It was scorching hot and I phoned before hand to make sure. For the prices they charge, all the rooms should have Aircon. I thought that was really poor to be honest for £185 a night, l would expect it personally
Setting, comfort, food, service, staff
Nothing
Lovely setting and environment. Food and service very good. Staff all very helpful and happy.
Getting served in the bar could have been quicker

Location pleasant with a lake on one side and a canal on the other.
We expected a more historic feel as the original building is very old but it was quite corporate in decor and set up and geared towards weddings and business events. Not a criticism, just not for us.
La ubicación
En realidad es un lugar muy tranquilo, la ubicación es genial y es muy cómodo para 1 o dos personas. Había que subir varias escaleras para nosotros no fue un problema pero quizá si alguien tiene problemas de movilidad podría ser un problema.
everything the room the staff and the food were fabulous
The views were amazing

Pretty setting, good perking.
Very old fashioned and in need of an update.
We had a really lovely and spacious room. Nice powerful shower. Plenty of parking and an excellent location just minutes from the M6 yet still set in a peaceful village.
The coffee cups at breakfast were too small. Although j wasxable to ask the waitress for a top up, I would have preferred being able to either serve myself coffee or to have had a larger cup or even a small cafetiere on the table.
Lovely building nice room good staff
Breakfast
Had to ask for glasses for juice
Had to ask for salt and pepper
Had to ask for butter for toast
No spoons on the table for cereal or yoghurt
Kids helping themselves to hot food with their hands
Second time at the hotel. The hotel is beautiful. Spacious and comfortable room. Good service. Good breakfast. The food in the restaurant is excellent.
