Great central location for exploring Rome, but noisy rooms and non-working AC made it less comfortable than expected
Pros:

The location was excellent — just a 10-minute walk from Termini station with luggage, and perfectly central for sightseeing. We could easily walk to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps, and more. The room was comfortable, the bathroom was good, and the staff were friendly.

Cons:

The room was quite small compared to the other hotels we stayed at in Italy. The biggest issue was the noise — even with the windows and shutters closed, street noise from Via Cavour (including trams and frequent sirens) made sleeping difficult, especially the first night. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was not working in our room (306) or our friends’ room (318). Breakfast was decent but nothing special.

Ideal stay near Roma Termini
Pros:

Just a stone throw away from Roma Termini station. They even gave us an early check in. Breakfast was good. Great view from the window of the room.

Great Hotel
Pros:

My wife and I spent three nights at the Hotel Genova in Rome. Absolutely stunning. The staff downstairs were extremely helpful and courteous, the room was more than adequate and the breakfasts were really good. The position of the hotel is great, a quick walk to the station and plenty of really good eateries all around. I would definitely stay there again when in Rome. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Good
Pros:

We stayed here for 3 nights for our first trip to Rome.

Location- 10/10. Only a 5 minute walk from Termini station. I would recommend getting a train from the airport straight to Termini. Very easy and much cheaper.
The location is in an ideal place for many sites. 15-20 min walk to Trevi fountain, spanish steps, colosseum. For the Vatican you can either get a bus or train.
Also a lot of nice cafes and restaurants nearby.

Room- clean, comfy bed, good storage space, nice bathroom and also a nice view from the window

WiFi- POOR! Hardly works and if it does takes ages for things to load. We were hardly in the hotel as always out, however if you spend more time in the hotel this is a real nuisance

Breakfast- not impressed. Not much of a selection, and poor quality. Choice of hot drinks was nice

Staff- could be friendlier (particularly the reception staff). No smiles and hardly any hellos. These little things do really make a difference

The main highlight of this hotel is the location, therefore I would recommend if visiting Rome, particularly for the first time. Overall a good experiences but definitely areas of improvement.

It does the job.
Pros:

Great location, close to station and about a 20-30 minute walk to the centre. Breakfast is very basic, scrambled eggs cold and hot dog sausages just not worth trying! But the continental was ok.
Hotel walls are thin when guests are plugging in phones etc! TV does not have English Channel or subtitles as they don’t work and we just wanted to relax when we got back late in the evening.

Beds are hard but I think this is something in all hotels abroad as have never stayed in a comfy bed on holiday!

Room was clean, refreshed daily which was a nice touch.

Our room was facing the main road so if you’re a light sleeper ask to be away from the front otherwise you will not sleep.

The staff we encountered were nice.

No real issue from us
Pros:

Great hotel. We have just returned from a long weekend where we stayed at Hotel Genova. Rooms are basic but clean. Breakfast is also basic but does the job. Disappointed that reception 'arranged' a wake up call that never came, a boxed up breakfast that never happened and a booked taxi which was never organised. The staff are lovely and friendly but disorganised it would seem. This was a budget break, so you get what you pay for. Good location. Really central.

In the heart of Rome!
Pros:

It is a nice hotel, located in the heart of Rome, a 10-minute walk from Termini (metro and railway station), and from Santa Maria Maggiore. The rooms are fine, the hotel is clean, breakfast is good and staff is helpful. Also, the bar is quite pleasant. One more elevator could help in some moments ofc the day.
Close to the hotel, we can find a wide range of restaurants.
