Good location for sightseeing
Pros:

Location is excellent, close to 2 metro lines, walking distance to Passeig de Gracia. The building is stylish, the staff was always helpful. You can leave your luggage there in an organized way before and after your stay. Breakfast was great, with unlimited coffee and juice. Wifi was working fine. We had a bathtub!

Cons:

Be prepared for an unexpected advance payment, which will be canceled if everything is in order when you leave. The ventilaton was not working in our bathroom, it was a bit smelly.

Non potevamo scegliere hotel migliore: un’alchimia di buongusto, modernità e praticità.
Pros:

Posizione centrale e strategica nell’Eixample: a due passi da passeig de Gracia (e metro) ma al riparo dalle scie turistiche, vicino a ottimi locali per mangiare (non solo tapas). La collezione permanente di disegni di Opisso rende l’hotel unico e ne valorizza il sapore retrò. Ottimo bar interno sempre art Déco con una bartender esperta e gentile.

Cons:

Il materasso del letto matrimoniale, un po’ infossato e pendente sui due lati, non era all’altezza della stanza e dí tutto il contesto.

Lovely hotel.
Pros:

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms comfortable and the staff accommodating. Also, a good location to be situated.

Cons:

I would have liked a kettle... Our only real problem was, that on the first night, we arrived late and were disturbed in the morning by other guests and activity, that we assumed was the maid going in and out of a cleaner's cupboard nearby. However, the following couple of nights were much better.

Can walk the city from here. Good location but loud. They take no frills seriously.
Pros:

Overall clean rooms and good house scent.

Cons:

Gym lacked equipment. Room was facing a club with bawdy providers outside. Noise would be a constant until 0600 and later.

Pros:

Good location, but the wonderful terrace closes at 9:00 PM—just when you return from the city and might want to sit there and enjoy the view. That was a major downside. The standard rooms have small windows that face a wall; be prepared for this—I certainly wasn't. Also, it was strange that there was no birthday greeting—not even a bottle of champagne; even cheaper hotels usually do this. I did enjoy the breakfast. Overall, the impression is positive, but there are a few minor flaws that could easily be fixed to make this an ideal hotel. The lack of a birthday acknowledgment, in particular—I’ve never seen anything like that before!
