Sehr schönes Hotel.
Pros:

Tolles Hotel mit leckerem Frühstück und toller Aussicht.

Cons:

Kostenlose Wasserflaschen und Nastuchboxen im Zimmer wären toll.

Astoria Hotel
Pros:

Hotel was spotless, and staff were helpful.
Very central lots of bars and restaurants just a short walk away. Very quiet for most of our 4 day stay.

Cons:

Personally it would have been nice to have coffee/tea making facilities in the room as I love my morning hot drink in bed. Also it would have been nice if the terrace was open later in the evening.
I think the gym was above us we were on floor 5 and was I was woken to the sound of someone on the running machine early Sunday morning!

Skvelá poloha hotela v bezpečnej štvrti, príjemný personál, pohodlné matrace, rozmanité raňajky. Využívali sme metro a bus cez kartu Hola Barcelona - všetko bolo v dostupnej blízkosti.

Muy buena opción en Eixample
Pros:

Las habitaciones impecables y las camas muy cómodas.
Cercanía al subte, estación Diagonal.
Se puede caminar por la Rambla hacia el barrio Gotico (aprox. 2 km)

Cons:

Me pareció que el precio es algo elevado. Relación precio-calidad regular, pero tal vez fue la fecha o la demanda.

Very nicely run hotel in good area; rooms best with views or on high floors
Pros:

The rooms with windows that don't face a lightwell are very nice. I was on the top floor overlooking rooftops and it was uplifting being filled with lots of light and having a view. The linens are terrific. The bathroom and its accessories are very fine. (I think they had the largest hotel bath towel I've ever seen ). I appreciated the artist gallery on the main level and the ample breakfast as well. It was nice to step out onto the rooftop terrace.

Cons:

I was first presented with the opposite of what I requested (having neither view, high floor, light) in a room that needed some maintenance. And when I complained, they offered me nothing (at first)
I contacted Booking.com that the room was depressing. They reached out to the Hotel.
[an hour or two later, on the next shift, a supervisor Joseph reached out to me to ensure I would be a happy customer, and gave me a room on the top floor which I enjoyed very much and is described above.]
Their gym only has three cardio machines and a set of lower -weight dumbbells, in a very tight space so it's not good for a weight training workout.

Lovely stay in Barcelona.
Pros:

Hotel Astoria was a very pleasant expernce. Clean rooms, friendiy staff , and a great location to explore Barcelona. The brekfast was nice and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was very welcoming. I would gladly stay there again.
