Beautiful hotel in the perfect location in the city. Very comfortable beds, friendly staff (especially the helpful manager Pepe) and all the amenities you could need. Breakfast was also top tier. Big recommend for a shorter or longer stay in Barcelona.
I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Astoria in Barcelona and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
From the moment I arrived, every member of staff was incredibly friendly, attentive and helpful. They made me feel genuinely welcome throughout my stay. My room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and being on one of the top floors meant I had a lovely view over the city.
The real highlight of my stay, however, was José Gerardo, the bartender by the swimming pool. I have honestly never seen such a young professional work with so much enthusiasm and genuine passion for hospitality. He was kind, attentive, fun, incredibly helpful and always smiling. It was obvious that he truly enjoyed what he was doing, and that made all the difference.
José took great care of us, making sure we always had everything we needed, offering great recommendations for places to visit in Barcelona, and creating such a warm and relaxed atmosphere around the pool. He treated every guest with the same energy and kindness, and his positive attitude was infectious.
A huge thank you to José Gerardo for making our stay so memorable. He is a real asset to Hotel Astoria and one of the main reasons I would happily return. Thank you to him and to the whole team for such a fantastic experience!
My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Astoria in July 2026. We found the room to be clean, comfortable, and cozy. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive. We did not purchase the morning breakfasts but it looked tasty. The location of the hotel is excellent and you can walk to several nearby cafes for coffee in the morning. The only issue was that there was occasional loud clanging noises because our room was next to the cleaning supply closet. We got a good deal on the room though. Overall, I highly recommend staying at the Hotel Astoria.
The staff was amazing. Luis, German and German Jr were extremely helpful and nice. We loved staying here and look forward to come back

Invasion of Privacy and providing incorrect information to hotel guest.
Also it seems no one has a clue as to what was happening in the hotel , seems if there is a fire no one will have an idea what to do as the “manager is on leave “.
