It was a comfortable, trouble free stay in a convenient location.
Pros:

It was a reasonable sized room, well laid out and as quiet as could be expected from the location. The Opera House, Wynyard and Martin Plaza stations were easily reached on foot. The bed was comfortable.

Cons:

The only view was other high rise buildings. There were some rumbling sounds, either from traffic, public transport or buildings that were loud enough to keep me awake.

Pros:

They were considerate to move our room away from the construction site outside. The room was clean and comfortable. Great location.

Cons:

The fridge was quite loud, especially during the night.

It's a tiny thing but they made such a point about offering free water but the container would cost $8 if it's taken. Hygienically and services wise, it felt uncomfortable. But it's really a small thing.

Outstanding Service and the Most Comfortable Bed

Favorite Stay of Our Australia Trip

We absolutely loved our stay at Paradox Sydney. Unfortunately, we were only there for one night and spent most of our time resting after a long journey, but it ended up being our favorite room of our entire Australia trip.

The room was beautiful, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was hands down the most comfortable bed we slept in during our travels. We also had a small balcony, which was a nice bonus and a great place to step outside and take in the city atmosphere.

The location was fantastic. We were able to walk to the Sydney Opera House and other nearby attractions, making it a great base for exploring the city.

The service was exceptional from start to finish. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and professional.

The only thing worth mentioning is the nearby construction. We never heard it during sleeping hours, so it did not affect our rest at all. However, if you’re someone who sleeps during the day, you may notice the noise. We travel with a sound machine, and it worked wonders.

We only wish we could have stayed longer and experienced more of the hotel. Based on our experience, we would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sydney.
