Great location, big rooms and beautifully appointed.
Beautiful building, decent size room and great location.
Air conditioning was terrible, the room was so hot we didn’t sleep well. Tried to set air con to 18 degrees but didn’t cool the room. Our friends also complained of room being hot and stuffy.
Fridge not plugged in. Didn’t realise until the following day. That was annoying.
Whilst the location was pretty good, it was a bit tricky to find the main entrance. On arrival, though, much earlier than the usual check in time, the girl on reception was able to find us a room straightaway which was greatly appreciated. The room consisted of a king size bed, comfy pillows and well appointed facilities/amenities. Our view was over the metro tunnel construction site, but we were only there to sleep so no big deal. The concierge and bell staff were very helpful with advice on how to get around cost effectively and were friendly and engaging.
Breakfast was nice, although the coffee machine wasn't working properly and there didn't seem to be anyone around to assist. The bathroom floor was extremely slippery, so beware if yours has a marble tiled floor like ours did.
Central location and close to trains. Staff were lovely
The construction noises outside our window made it impossible to sleep! Not just a few construction noises now and then but all day and sometimes through the night and started very early! Ear plugs were provided but they did not so nearly enough.

Staff were excellent and could not be more attentive or helpful. the bed was fantastic, sheets were great, the pillows and mattress very comfortable.

Walking distance to the main areas visiting for the weekend. Covered it all and more. Really enjoyed our stay. Plus the weather was perfect! Room was perfect. Clean.
