Central location staff very friendly and helpful breakfast was great.
Nothing to speak of
The hotel was overall very good, however we did have a significant problem.
We paid extra to be upgraded to a King Heritage Room only to discover that our room was located directly opposite the building site for the Hunter Street Metro station.
Initially enquires revealed that the building site operated mainly during the day so we figured, while not ideal, we would simply be woken at 7am when work commenced. WRONG - the site operates 24/7.
The duty Manager said this wasn't the case, it only operated overnight occasionally and they would be notified - clearly this was not the truth.
In the hotel's defence, they did offer to move us to another room for our second night but this was not practical as we had a meeting that required clothes that hadn't been folded up in bags all day.
After the second sleepless night we expected that at least the extra we paid for the room upgrade would be refunded, only to be told that this was impossible as we had booked through Booking.com. In fact there were lots of options that the Paradox Hotel could have taken to make our stay better - particularly if they had informed us about the existence of the building site opposite in the first instance.
We strongly suggest that both Booking.com and the Paradox Hotel warn their guests that there is building site operating 24/7 outside many of the Heritage King rooms.
Room is spacious
The shower space could be easily flooded if you step on the drainage accidentally
Jeg var tilfreds med alt, hotellets renlighed, personalet og morgenmaden. Jeg vender tilbage til det land og jeres hotel en dag. Tak for alt 💫❤️
Jeg så ikke noget negativt.🥰

Amazing location, pretty good rooms!
A bit expensive for what it is, but it's nice enough...
Great staff from front door to reception and the concierge. I arrived quite early for checkin and as soon as room became available, receptionist brought the access cards to the lobby where I was sitting!
None
As expected and close to the venue

The location was wonderful, a short walk to Circular Quay and The Rocks in one direction and then Botanical Gardens and Hyde Park in the other.
The front concierge was excellent, very helpful and friendly.
The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable.
The bathroom floor tiles were very slippery when wet - be careful!!

Great location, walking distance to everything i needed for.
I have stayed at this hotel before when it was still Radisson and loved everything about it, mainly location, spacious rooms and comfort, however, this stay was disappointing. I was on 11th floor and flew for a business conference, couldn’t sleep both nights as there is a construction site right next to hotel 24/7!! They don’t stop. Windows are thin, not double glazed so it feels like you are outside. If I’ve known I wouldn’t have stayed there. Hotel personnel said they were fully booked and couldn’t do anything about it. Then dinner, i’ve ordered in room dining and there were hair in my dinner, not just one on the cauliflower but also jn my meat, cheery tomatoes in my salad were not fresh either and went to bin ( i returned the rest) so had to return it to them. They brought back another plate and added orange juice and chips ( no complaints there).
