Across the road from Metro being built by Government, they worked all night - not impressed to pay for accommodation and get issued ear plugs because they know it’s a high problem for their customers

We’ve stayed previously in may and we had a much better room and also I believe it was cheaper
Great location, to get to Circular Quay, Darling Habourcand Central shopping mall.
Ear plugs supplied in the room, due to major construction being carried out directly across the street.

Staff were lovely, especially at the front door! and the restaurant within the hotel was great. good walking distance to the station and Sydney harbour.
plumbing smelt off in the bathroom & no exhaust fan. I was told before my booking was confirmed that construction across the road would stop at 8pm each night, unfortunately this isn’t the case and can go later into the night if required, which happened to us. more transparency on that would have been appreciated.

Our room was small but comfortable.
The shower pressure was great BUT the shower was a very weird, annoying access design. Barely room for one person.

The hotel review did not allow me to make any comments about suggested improvements.
The only improvement I would suggest would be a grab rail in the shower as the tiles could be slippery . Otherwise the facilities were excellent
