Pros:

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Apollo Hotel Bratislava im Doppelzimmer mit Terrasse. Das Zimmer war sauber, ruhig und sehr angenehm. Besonders begeistert hat uns das Frühstück – so ein außergewöhnliches Frühstück haben wir bisher noch nie erlebt! Der Frühstücksraum ähnelt einem prachtvollen Saal und sorgt für ein ganz besonderes Ambiente. Das gesamte Hotel ist wunderschön gestaltet und absolut empfehlenswert. Auch die Anbindung zur Innenstadt ist sehr gut, alles ist bequem fußläufig erreichbar. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! :-)

Schönes Hotel für einen kurzen Aufenthalt
Pros:

Sehr schönes nostalgisches Hotel. Zimmer waren sauber und der Blick auf die Burg vom Balkon war sehr schön. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut, vielseitig und es gab reichlich.
Direkt vor dem Hotel fahren Busse in die Stadt oder 25min Fußweg. In direkter Umgebung ist ein Markt, zwei Einkaufszentren und die Blaue Kirche.

Cons:

Frühstück geht bis 10 Uhr, ab 9 Uhr wurde kein Brot mehr aufgefüllt. Man sollte eher früher frühstücken. Das Auffüllen des Frühstücksbuffets war sehr unorganisiert.
Frühstück ging bis 10 Uhr aber Check-out ist bis 10 Uhr verlangt. Check-out bis 11 Uhr wäre hier angebrachter, um seinen Abreisetag stressfreier zu gestalten. Personal ist eher wortkarg.
Der Preis ist etwas hoch für die sehr kleinen Zimmer und Leistung/Service.

Přijatelná cena dobeého hotelu nedaleko OC Nivy.
Pros:

Dobrá cena a hezký pokoj s balkonem.
Na pokoji trezor a voda zdarma.
Snídaně ok.

Cons:

Personál mi přišel nepříliš nadšený, necítil jsem se velmi vítaný.
V sauně chybělo něco k pití a uvnitř byly nefunkční přesýpací hodiny.
Minibar na pokoji byl prázdný.

Be aware of mobility issues for key facilities
Pros:

The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. The room was spacious and well laid out, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom and room were very clean. The breakfast was OK.

Cons:

There is no explanation in the hotel description of the very limiting access for people with mobility issues.
The rooms can all be accessed by lift, no problem.
The issue is with the advertised facilities. The bar and restaurant, for breakfast are up on the first floor, three full flights of steps, no lift access. The Salt cave, which was the main reason for selecting this hotel, is up on the 2nd floor, a further two flights of stairs, again no lift access. None of this is mentioned in the Booking.com description, nor the hotel information.
As my wife and I both have mobility issues, this negated one of the main reasons for our trip.
We informed the hotel management and curtailed our trip. They have dealt with our request very professionally and amicably, and we are very grateful for their understanding. I believe it is important the description for the hotel accurately reflect the access issues for those with mobility problems.
