Location, bed, friendly staff.
Smelled old and musty kind of, and theres a camera watching your every move. It felt a little odd.
The location very close to things

People were smoking in adjacent rooms , and I had to switch my room to another one in a part of the hotel that looks like it was being revamped. The second room I was in reeked like mold. I was seeking refuge at the Best Western to get out of my apartment,because somebody was smoking in an adjacent apartment to me. I would have been better off paying at least $50 more a night to have a clean room without the horrible smoke and mold in my breathing space. I would like my money back because this is the worst best western I have ever stayed in and I have traveled across the country throughout many years. If could have gotten my money back and just gone home, It would have been a healthier choice.
The first room I stayed in lacked cleanliness, and I had to clean out the filters in the A.C myself and they look like they hadn't been cleaned in a year and there was black mold in the shower grout... And to add to that misery , I had to deal with a person smoking next door and it coming right into my room. Everything was filthy in that room!! The second room SEEMED to smell better until the heavy odor remover thing was taken out of the A.C and the horrific smell of mold took over. I had to actually clean the filter in the AC in this room as well, to my dismay. So the first room I had to suffer the smell of cigarette smoke and the second room I was breathing in heavy mold. I am so disappointed with this Best western , and I would like my money back. I will never stay in any Best Western again anywhere after this experience. The amount of money I paid to stay there is ridiculous!!

Men in hallway at 1230-2 talking loud and banging on doors had to call the front desk she did come up and told them to leave however they came back

a bit of a language challenge at the front desk. I am older without great hearing and the desk person was so nice but we were not totally communicating.
The room they gave us was awful. The paint on the ceiling right above the bed was peeling, and we were afraid the paint would land in our mouthes while we were sleeping. They finally gave us another room, and that room smelled like wet dog.
The restaurant had poor quality. Fried greenbeans were AWFUL. TOO BREADED AND OVER FRIED. Onion soup was tasteless, and there were3 tiny morsels of fish in my fish and chips. Talked to the manager, but she couldn't have cared less

Our beds were very uncomfortable. One sunk down in the middle and definitely needed to be replaced. The light switch in the bathroom was cracked and tub looked ancient with many signs of wear. No one came to give us new towels, or give us room service. That is not o.k. when you are traveling with children and changing diapers. We used the pool many times . The tried to use the bathroom in the pool area, however it was a disgrace. It smelled awful, trash full, no toilet paper and VERY dirty. I actually told the front desk on the first day and no one cleaned it while we were there. We didn’t end up using it. This made it difficult when traveling with young children who needed to use the bathroom. The warm items on the breakfast buffet were awful, however there was a big selection.
Overall good budget hotel for our short family trip. We were there on fourth of July and enjoyed the large clean pool area and the included breakfast that had something everyone liked (especially the waffles). The staff were friendly and efficient. The rooms dated and simple, but most importantly they were clean. Overall good value. We heard no noise in our rooms on the busy holiday weekend and were all therefore able to get a good night's rest during our one-night stay. Lots of shops and restaurants around and even a restaurant attached to hotel, but we didnt end up checking it out as we already had a full itinerary.
