Dieses Hotel ist sehr empfehlenswert
Pros:

Wir kennen mehrere Hotels der Mercure-Kette, dieses fanden wir besonders gut. Lage: Ruhig, auf einem großen parkartigen Gelände. Ausreichend Aussenparkplätze, was für uns wegen der Dachbox relevant war. In Hotelnähe ein Supermarkt, Restaurants etc. Das Personal sehr freundlich und neben französisch- auch englisch- bzw. spanischsprachig. Das Zimmer war groß, Bett bequem, Bad mit separatem WC ebenfalls großzügig geschnitten. Das hoteleigene Restaurant war abends gut besucht, das dort servierte Essen schmackhaft und schön serviert. Kurzum: Sehr guter Aufenthalt.

Cons:

Die Bezeichnung "Spa-Hotel" ist in jeder Beziehung u.a. wegen der räumlichen Enge sehr ambitioniert. Das Schwimmbecken -Foto als eye-catcher im Buchungsportal ist verfälschend, es ist klitzeklein; ebenso die Sauna, o h n e Liege- oder Entspannungsmöglichkeit, da ohne Ruheraum oder Liegen, etwa im Freien, 1 Meter vor der Sauna stehen 3 Fitnessgeräte. Zum Duschen nach dem Saunieren müssen 2 Türen mit Chip-Karte geöffnet werden. Handtücher stehen nicht zur Verfügung.
Um das Hotel herum ist nur Asphalt, die 4spurige Ausfallstraße stört genauso wie der Restaurationsbetrieb im Außenbereich unterhalb der Hotelfenster. "Batingnolles" ist deshalb auch irreführend. Mit der Buchung sagte man mir zu, auf Allergiebesonderheiten, also eine Variation des gebuchten Abendmenüs einzugehen, was vor Ort dann aber auch nicht möglich war. Ausschließlich das "Weglassen" war Option; und ...... von dem angebotenen 3-Gänge-Menue standen innerhalb des gebuchten Preises nur 2 Gänge zur Auswahl. Das Essen wird in engen, niedrigen Räumen, u. a. einem Durchgang an der Bar entlang, hektisch serviert. Der Geräuschpegel war entsprechend laut.
