Pros:

Wir wurden sehr freundlich in Empfang genommen, auch hat uns die junge Dame alles gut erklärt. Das Hotel bietet ein kostenloses Getränk an der Rezeption an(aromatisiert Wasser). Alles was man auf dem Zimmer benötigt war vorhanden, der Schreibtisch war praktisch. Auch gab es einen Schrank und eine kleine Sitzecke, die Zimmergröße war sehr gut. Unser Zimmer war sauber. Bei Bedarf konnte man eine tägliche Reinigung anfordern. Für unseren Hund gab es noch ein Reisenapf. Die Lage war sehr zentral direkt in der Stadt, direkt am Hotel eine Bahnhaltestelle und Bäckerei, weitere Geschäfte und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten z. B. Rewe in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wenige Gehminuten vom Hbf entfernt.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer hatte 2,3 Steckdosen, keine in Bettnähe, eine im Bad. Bad mit Badewanne für ältere Menschen umständlich für uns aber vollkommen ok. Einrichtung einfach gehalten.Der Eingang des Hotels ist ausgeschildert, allerdings befindet sich das Hotel in der Innenstadt in einem Einkaufszentrum dadurch ist der Eingang leicht zu übersehen. Ein Aufzug hat permanent einen lauten hohen Ton von sich gegeben, das war unangenehm. Ein Fenster in unserem Zimmer hatte ein sehr großen Riss/Sprung im Glas. Abnutzung im Zimmer bzw. Badezimmer( Waschbecken) war durchaus zu sehen, etwas in die Jahre gegangen. Trotzdem haben wir uns wohl gefühlt, für unseren kurzen Aufenthalt völlig ausreichend.
Wir würden wieder kommen.

Für einen Kurztrip nach Dortmund würden wir dieses Hotel sicherlich wieder buchen
Pros:

Wir waren nur für 1 Nacht im Hotel, da wir uns nur das Fußballmuseum ansehen wollten und HIn- und Rückfahrt für einen
einzigen Tag zu weit gewesen wäre. Positiv empfanden wir die Nähe des empfohlenen Parkhauses. und für eine Großstadt empfanden wir die Parkgebühren auch noch als relativ günstig.
Das Hotel liegt in der Fußgängerzone, von daher ist alles fußläufig zu erreichen gewesen.
Die Zimmer sind schon etwas älter, aber alles ist zweckmässig eingerichtet.

Cons:

Was uns (und auch andere Gäste) verwirrt hat - an der Aussenfassade wird das gebuchte Mercure Hotel angezeigt. Geht man durch die Tür ins Gebäude steht vor den Fahrstühlen aber Sunday Hotel. Wir dachten schon, wir hätten uns im Eingang versehen. Da wäre eine kurze Notiz schon nett gewesen.
Was uns beim Frühstück gefehlt hat, waren die warem Komponenten wie z.B. Rührei. Wir waren in der Woche da.
Aber vielleicht gibt es das am Wochenende.

Otel demeye bin şahit gerek. Kesinlikle tamamen hostel. Odalar da buzdolabı bile yok. Sanki iş merkezini otele çevirmişler. Aynı fiyata hatta daha düşük fiyata 4 yıldızlı otelde kalınabilinir aynı lokasyonda

The hotel has an ideal location, the staff is knowledgeable and truly respectful.

At first I was confused by the fact that the hotel had changed the name, so I phoned the facility. Receptionist Vanessa was extraordinarily kind and she directed me where to go and what to do. Then she told me accurately how to use the elevator card and how to reach the room.

Cons:

Perhaps a light bulb on the very ceiling could be an idea for the future. It may be a nuisance for the renovators, but more lighting can help with reading or other activities.
