Not bad
Pros:

I had a early check out, and your receptionist made sure I got a lunch box ready when leaving the hotel at 6 30 am

To be honest there was nothing impressive about my stay at Ambassador Hotel.

Cons:

The escalator was not working and the room l had was on the 4th floor. I had two big suitcases and for the money l paid my heart sank in disappointment carrying my luggage all the way up and all the way down. The first room they gave me had a flickering bathroom light that could have easily caused seizures. In the very same room the bed had no legs on one side. Across the road there were clubs that ppayed loud music for the bigger part of the night. What a waste of money it was. After complaining l was moved to another room by

Needs updating and not worth the price

Situated near all major places

Cons:

The shower cubicle had hair as if it has not been cleaned. There were no towels and when I requested I had to wait for nearly 30mins. The staff were unprofessional and not welcoming.

Excellent stay July 2026,
Pros:

Excellent stay on my first return after a long time. Very clean hotel, high attention to detail in room cleanliness as well as great hospitality from the Team at Reception. Thank you Mr Kumbirai Mutigwa for leading the team from the front. Great atmosphere in the hotel and that can only be attributed to good leadership.

Pros:

Staff was very pleasant

Cons:

Dirty trays of food remained uncollected outside doors for more than 24 hrs. Air conditioner was not working despite being promised that repairs would be carried out during the day.

Excellent location
Pros:

Great location in the center of Harare, friendly and helpful staff. Close to the shopping malls and plenty of restaurants around.
Spacious room with good WiFi, coffee maker, bottle water, television and daily cleaning. Bathroom is quite small but it has good hot shower and toiletries

Cons:

No shower curtain, if taking a shower water all over the bathroom floor. No fridge in the room.

No remote control for airconditioning. Broken toilet lid, wardrobe door can’t closed. Expensive breakfast 28 dollars for a buffet and 7 for continental
