I had a wonderful stay at the St Ermin's Hotel in London recently. The service was outstanding, from the Front Desk (whose kind staff - thank you, Denisa!) worked rapidly to accommodate early check-in during a very busy week for the hotel, to the Housekeeping, Concierge, and restaurant staff. Could not have asked for more attentive and helpful staff. And a lovely hotel to boot.
My husband and I had a magical stay at 100 Princes for our anniversary! The staff went above and beyond to assist us and ensure we were enjoying our stay. The hotel and rooms were beautiful and the food was amazing. We had the afternoon tea and it was delicious! The location was perfect for walking to the old city or the new city. We hope to stay again next time we visit!
We stayed at this property for four days and it was a looong four days. The room was very small (think of a small cruise ship’s lower deck cabins). I believe the website misrepresents the rooms. The safe never worked in the room and the staff didn’t seem to care. We tried to use the bar on the ground floor (Caxton Bar) but couldn’t find a waiter. We had sushi on the first floor. Let’s just say sushi isn’t this hotel’s thing! The lobby is beautiful and well maintained. The concierge was of limited help. The only suggestions were the bar or restaurant in the hotel. It is a great location however. Easy to walk to west end, Westminster Abbey, etc. we might stay here again but I think we can find a better place.
This was a wonderful stay from the turn down service to the bar. Daniel took great care of me and really enhanced my trip.
The Saint Ermin's Hotel in London is a lovely place to stay. It's beautifully designed with real character, very centrally located, and offers excellent value for what you get.
The breakfast was really great, and the whole property has a thoughtful, elegant feel that makes you want to linger. It's the kind of place where you can step out your door and be in the heart of the city, but the hotel itself still feels like a proper retreat.
There's nothing we'd fault here. For the price, the location, and the quality of the experience, it's a straightforward recommendation. We'd happily stay again.
Loved this hotel!! Spent the weekend in London for my birthday. Beautiful hotel with excellent location walking distance from sites. The bee colony was very cool and staff was lovely. Great service - highly recommend. I would love to stay here again!
Great hotel with great location. Housekeeping was terrific. Lobby interior is gorgeous and rooms are well-appointed. We were kept stocked with coffee, water and chocolate(:
Our shower door did not have perfect seal so water ended up on the floor during showers. Not a huge deal.

I had a wonderful weeklong stay at St. Ermin's, for a business trip with some fun mixed in. St. Ermin's is perfectly centrally located, walking distance from many sights and shopping areas, and a stone's throw away from a Tube station, that easily connects to the rest of the city. The hotel itself was lovely, with excellent hospitality, and clean, stylish accommodations. I will definitely recommend this hotel to others heading to London!
This was one of our best stays with Marriott Autograph collection. The location was fantastic, centrally located within easy walking access to major the London sites, including Westminister Abbey & Buckingham Palace. There were several good restaurants within walking distance when, after a long day sightseeing, staying close to the hotel was appreciated. Also, St James Underground was within a block or two which made transportation to other sites easy. The staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. Zane, who greeted us and took our baggage when we arrived provided a welcome Prosecco while we waited to check in; He was also very kind in making sure we got our transfer through the concierge services. Nasid S., in charge of restaurant and catering services, was very personable and gave individual attention in welcoming and making sure we had everything we needed while dining. So nice.
Lovely stay at St. Ermin's — spotless rooms, caring team, peaceful despite central London, and an unbeatable location for exploring the city. Highly recommended.
I had a fantastic stay at St. Ermin’s Hotel. The location is unbeatable - just steps from St. James’s Park and within walking distance of major landmarks like Buckingham Palace and Westminster.
The hotel has a beautiful, elegant atmosphere while still feeling relaxed and welcoming. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, and despite the central location, it’s impressively quiet.
Service was excellent - friendly, professional, and always helpful. Overall, great value for the quality and experience.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting London.
we absolutely love the location of the hotel since it was both walking distance to Westminster Abbey as well as Buckingham Palace. We were there to attend Wimbledon and the tube stop takes you directly to Wimbledon was just a two minute walk away. The hotel staff continually went above and beyond to make our stay the it could be. It is a beautiful historic hotel and everything was very clean. The rooms were renovated and as well as the bathroom, which we appreciated. Being an historic hotel the rooms are a little small, but that is to be expected and wasn’t an issue for us. We also very much enjoyed the buffet breakfast every morning before we started our day.
Each summer I am invited to speak to Members of Parliament at Westminster about US presidents, have dinner with MPs, and attend a session of Commons or Lords. I chose the St. Ermin’s 3 years ago because of its proximity to Parliament, a quick 10-minute walk away. In addition, the hotel earns top marks from guests, and I know why through 3 stays. I am now greeted by name by the friendly concierge, Mr. Michaelides, in the charming entry courtyard. Likewise, desk clerks (this year Shamoor Ahmed) welcome me as if I were family and place me in my favorite room. The hotel is absolutely spotless, and I see staff dusting furniture, cleaning glass, and fluffing pillows on the lobby couches constantly. Moreover, as a solo traveler, I appreciate the safety of the property and its location. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, tearooms nearby, along with the St. James’s tube station. I love the easy walk to Buckingham Palace & the King’s Gallery (showing QEII’s stunning wardrobe), St. James’s Park, and Victoria St. for shopping. Very near Westminster Abbey (Anglican) and Westminster Cathedral (Roman Catholic). I easily walked to the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square, the Wallace Gallery, and theaters in Whitehall and off The Strand. I’ve been previously to the Churchill War Rooms, 10 Downing St., and Horseguards Parade, but for first-timers they are so convenient. The hotel has a happy hour with wine on its terrace each evening. I am too busy to attend, but it looks like a fun meeting opportunity. After a long day of business and touring, I appreciate the quiet rooms. No noise from outside, due to double-glazed windows, and the staff are never loud as they go about their work. As a single, I can take a small room that is just perfect in every way. One quick request: the TV channel list was a bit sparse and the networks little slow in popping up. I love BBC, but I, as an American, missed CNN from my previous stays. Thank you for making my visit so superb. See you next June!
I had an outstanding stay at St. Ermin's Hotel and would happily return on my next visit to London.
The hotel's location is one of its greatest strengths. Nestled on a quiet street in Westminster, it's just a short walk to St. James's Park Underground station, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, and many other iconic attractions. Despite being so centrally located, the hotel provides a peaceful retreat from the busy city.
From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome. Everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to help with directions, recommendations, and any requests we had throughout our stay. Their hospitality truly elevated the experience. The manager in the restaurant was amazing.
The hotel itself is beautiful, blending historic elegance with modern comfort. The stunning lobby, grand staircases, and charming courtyard create a warm and sophisticated atmosphere. My room was spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed. While London hotel rooms tend to be smaller than those in the U.S., the space was thoughtfully designed and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay.
Breakfast each morning offered an excellent selection of both traditional English and continental options, making it a great way to start a day of sightseeing.
The happy hour each day was very nice with drinks and staff circulating with Hors d’oeuvres.
Overall, St. Ermin's exceeded my expectations with its exceptional service, beautiful surroundings, and unbeatable location. If you're looking for a hotel that combines classic London charm with modern amenities, this is an excellent choice. I highly recommend it and look forward to staying here again on my next trip to London.
The hotel is not very far from both the bus and train stations, making it easier for customers to locate it. The hotel is luxury and elegant. The hotel offers spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms designed to provide guests with a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The rooms are generally quiet, with minimal outside noise, providing a comfortable stay. The hotel offers a good balance between price and the overall guest experience. Friendly, professional, and attentive staff who provide prompt and personalized service. The hotel offers a wide range of modern amenities, such as free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a restaurant, swimming pool, fitness center, room service, parking, and meeting facilities.
After uncounted stays at St Ermin’s, they never disappoint. This stay was fabulous, as always. The staff always make us feel that we are family returning home. From Steven and Stelios, who greet us on arrival, to Frank, Ramos, Maira, Winnie, and the entire restaurant and bar staff, they are to a person warm and friendly. Rooms are always comfortable and clean. The location makes St Ermin’s a hidden gem, close to Westminster, Victoria, the Palace, and St James’s Park, but tucked quietly away from the hustle and bustle. We look forward to the next visit each time we walk the door.
