This hotel served our purpose of stay well, as we were only using it to sleep at night.
Pros:

The staff were friendly, and the location for the purpose of our trip was perfect. Rooms were comfortable, with plenty of charging ports, etc.

Cons:

The restaurant was very crowded during breakfast time. There weren't many options available either, which is why I cannot give an Excellent rating overall. Maybe I am being unfair, as I only ate at the restaurant once.

There was also a smell of cigarettes. Either this could be because someone was smoking, or some disinfectant spray was being used that smelled bad.

Also, there were not enough indications on which days the rooms would be cleaned. There were a few days we went without clean towels.

Location was handy for us this trip. Staff were friendly if not particularly helpful

Cons:

Bed wasn't very comfortable. Bathroom was tiny. Breakfast was passable. Pool changing rooms were very grubby. Room card didn't open the door from the underground carpark to the hotel lifts so you could only leave through this door, that was pretty inconvenient. I put out the do not disturb sign one of the days but when we returned from our day out the towels had been replaced and the beds tidied up- I hadn't put away our valuables and there was no room safe so I didn't like that staff had been in our room.

Generally good a few tweaks needed
Pros:

Hotel clean and comfortable, nice to be able to have a seim

Cons:

Couldn't find USB port in room to charge phone.
Breakfast quite dried out under heat lamps.
Bar maid in afternoon tried hard but we had to explain where a particular drink was, how to serve it. Bill seemed high but was not given itemised bill although it was requested.
Toiletries in bathroom... shampoo awful, I'm not sure if it was what it said on the bottle. Need conditioner too. Mirror in bathroom was quite far away as I'm short sighted so found it difficult to get close enough to see what I was doing.
Lights over desk didn't seem to work but maybe we had wrong combination of buttons

Good location and value. Needs a bit of tlc

Location is excellent for Sutton access and nearby trains. Pool was good to have.

Cons:

It’s in need of a refurb. Our room wasn’t like in the pic above. Reception staff often not there. Cleaners only clean at time they arrive at door, or not at all.
