Novotel Canberra offers limited undercover, self-car parking for in-house guests only at $35 per car per day. Due to the limited spaces available, unfortunately parking cannot be reserved or guaranteed. To make your arrival and departure at the hotel easier, there is a drop off area in front of the hotel, where guests can unload luggage with the assistance of luggage trolleys. Alternatively, off-site public parking areas are located close by.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Location, apartment roomy and clean,, very comfortable bed, facilities ie pool, breakfast excellent.
The pullout bed should have had a mattress on it .
The staff were incredibly lovely and warm at all times.
We were treated to an unexpected upgrade.

Amazing location with fabulous restaurants just meters away
Icy cold showers. Day one we had a warm shower but then the hotel got busy and showers became stone cold. Our last day, the water didn’t heat at all.
The true tragedy of this place is the buffet Brekky. By no means are we food critics nor does our family have huge expectations for bane mare foods but the this was grim for a Novatel. Day 1- bland, stone cold and slimy hot food and a texture best described as old but not quite stale for the patisseries. Burnt coffee.

Day 3. We didn’t even bother to go.
Such a shame. The staff kindness and politeness 10/10 but we will not be returning because the breakfast and the shower situation is diabolical
Umm the bed was warm. Shower pressure was good when it didnt stop and start.
Tried ringing the service desk/hotel a total of 10 times before anyone answered. Bath was dirty, hair in there also. TV was glitchy, saw that netflix icon so clicked on it couldnt watch it as there was no internet. Called the service desk/reception multiple times after many attempts someone finally answered told me that my tv was not a smart tv so i did not have access to netflix.
Long line wait for breakfast only to get to the front and find out that pancakes werent on the menu that day however in the advert it states that it is.
The instructions for parking werent that clear so while down in the parking lot tried calling service desk no one answered.
Pool area is good.
Very outdated. The rooms are the same as they were 15 years ago.

Parkin g over crowded and difficult to negotiate
The staff were excellent and friendly. The location was good for the purpose of our visit. The bedding was clean
Room 705 is in seriously need of maintenance, broken shelves, loose tap fittings , unable to get shower into water saving mode. But the floor tiles and grout are filthy and black. The entire room was shabby and well below normal Novotel expectations.
Comfy beds, clean room, pool/spa, location, friendly staff and easy parking. It was my daughter’s birthday and they left her a note and a piece of cake. She felt so special!
Nothing I didn’t like. The room was a bit dated but it was everything we needed.

Enjoyed a lovely dinner in the restaurant had great staff serving and the meal was delicious.
The lift wait time we waited 35 minutes to get out for breakfast there we only 2 lifts which were dominated by cleaning staff. No other way to exit what would happen if a fire broke out in that building ??
The reception staff are amazing...and it guide us where to go since we were visiting Canberra.
