Die Klimaanlage!!!
Das Personal war sehr freundlich, vor allem an der Rezeption.

Cons:

Dass in diesen modernen Zimmern kein Nachtkästchen und kein richtiger Schrank mehr vorhanden ist.

Dass der Parkplatz extra kostet und das nicht zu wenig. Das war vorab nicht (oder schlecht, ich habe es jedenfalls nicht gesehen) ersichtlich.

Overall, this stay was very disappointing.
Cons:

Unfortunately, my room had not been fully cleaned after the previous guest. The bathroom bin had not been emptied and still contained the previous occupant's waste, which was very unpleasant.

Breakfast was good, but the service was disappointing. The staff were chatting in the back room, and I had to wait around 10 minutes to ask for the milk to be refilled. During that time, other guests were also waiting to be seated. The restaurant appeared to be understaffed, with only one waiter covering both the indoor restaurant and the outdoor seating area.

The swimming pool was advertised as being heated to 28°C, but it definitely felt much colder.

Access to and from the hotel was also frustrating due to temporary roadworks. There was a single set of temporary traffic lights on the narrow access road, with waits of around five minutes before the lights changed. This was particularly inconvenient when trying to get to business appointments on time.

Overall, this stay was very disappointing. I'm staying at another Mercure hotel in Frankfurt next week, and I sincerely hope that experience is much better and lives up to the standard I expect from the Mercure brand.
