Pros:

The overall experience was first class from the welcome by Kevin and the staff at Reception. The third tome we have stayed with you and we hope it will continue as a first class hotel preferably with the same wonderful staff.

I had a wonderful experience at the hotel, complemented by the lovely atmosphere and attentive staff
Pros:

The hotel exudes a charming atmosphere, blending grandeur with a delightful old-school ambiance that enhances the overall experience. It was impeccably clean, and the rooms were not only well-decorated but also very spacious. Breakfast at the brasserie was first-class, complemented by attentive service that echoed the classic style of the hotel, further enriching the experience.

Cons:

The hotel’s communal areas show some signs of wear, but it is set to undergo a major refurbishment in September. Despite this, I would still be inclined to make one last visit before it closes, as the hotel rooms are truly lovely. The experience of staying in such a grand hotel more than compensates for any imperfections in the common areas.

Wasn’t the greatest stay and wouldn’t rush back.

Pleasant overnight stay

Cons:

The not so warm welcome by lady at reception (same as our last visit but different lady) !! The bed was only a double bed-usually its a king bed always these days!

Pros:

Came for a wedding and the hotel and parking facilities were really good. Beds are comfortable and the staff are always on hand to help - polite and friendly. Good breakfast.

Good place to stay for a few days of sightseeing in Chester , right in the heart of the city .
