Excellent location close to shopping
Pros:

We have stayed in Paris many times and stayed at many hotels… Le Scribe is by far the best location of them all!
The service staff at this hotel are a credit to the Sofitel… engaging, helpful and always smiling. Special mention to Jeanne Jourdain the Guest Relations Manager who made a point of introducing herself when we arrived, and went out of her way to assist us with various requests and needs we had.
While we stayed in a Suite, it must always be known rooms in Paris tend to be on the smaller side, regardless of category. The room itself was perfectly adequate for our needs, the only small complaint is it was a tad dark - even with the curtains open and the lights on. Really appreciated the walk in wardrobe though - so good to be able to store suitcases and shopping bags!
Daily room servicing was not the best… whilst the room was kept clean, the cleaners did not replace towels as expected, nor did they take away rubbish. Bit strange.
Overall, a solid stay in Paris close to Galleries La Fayette.

First Class In Every Way
Pros:

If you have the opportunity to stay at this hotel, seize it. Excellent location. First class all the way. Engaging professional knowledgeable staff. Exquisite comfortable room with a huge spa-like bathroom. Comfortable bed with exquisite linens. Every amenity anticipated and supplied in the bedroom and adjoining bathroom as well as the separate coffee/refreshment area.
Dinner was delightful. The meal, service, ambiance was all one would hope for in a restaurant in downtown Paris.
Breakfasts left us with our heads spinning as to what hot item we should order— especially after indulging in the open buffet of pastries, fruit, blended juices, platters of meats and cheeses and veggies.
We are still recalling our time at the Sofitel Scribe: all in all, a beautiful memory of what service and comfort should be.

Wonderful Sofitel Scribe and star Concierge team
Pros:

Our stay at the Sofitel Scribe has been excellent. The reception, bar and other employees have been welcoming and helpful. Most impressive is the concierge team of Eve and her colleagues Clem, Svetlana, Emmanuelle and Thuiz. They have been nothing short of extraordinary. They obtained otherwise difficult tickets and provided multiple suggestions for restaurants and activities
Most impressive, they are a coordinated and responsive team to make things happen. My thanks to them for making our stay a special experience.

とてもサンパテイックに対応してくれるので、とても気持ち良く滞在できた
Barでの、最後の夜の一杯を心地よく楽しめた。

Cons:

ベットが高すぎて、登らないといけないので、ちょっと腰掛けてというようなことができない。
朝食会場は、地下で雑然とした雰囲気を感じたもっと心弾む場所で、朝の始まりを迎えたいー
内容は悪くない。

Good choice for Paris
Pros:

A nice hotel, very well located, clean, good stuff. Have stayed here every year for the last 20 years or so, it is very crowded now, due to large groups, in the breakfast area you fell the most, but the staff is doing a good job to keep everything organise.

Cons:

In our room there was no possibility to open a window. Needs small reparations.

Location near major attractions and lovely staff
Pros:

The location is perfect. A 5 minutes walk to the Lafayette Galleries and the Cathedral of Mary Madeleine. 10 minutes walk to the Place de la Concorde. Staff are friendly, the best beds we have ever slept in and a lovely breakfast with service.

Cons:

It can be very busy in the foyer at times

Not a REAL 5 Star Hotel
Pros:

Superb location steps from The Opera. Very gracious but casual staff. But its a 3-4 Star hotel masquerading as 5 Star for the enormous volume of tour groups that are their staple- Tauck, Viking, Scenic. No real lobby. Not an elegant or gracious interior. No closet in room. A hanging area. Tired bathroom. Garish.
BUT very friendly and competent staff. Truly. But if you think you are getting a 5 Star Paris " bargain", its not here.
