My Regular Place to Stay
Pros:

The location is absolutely great.
Also, the staff are kind and very pleasant.

Cons:

Since it's a historic building, I can't really complain, but there are some areas where the floor isn't level.

Mostly great :)
Pros:

I’ll start with what was a bit disappointing, might not disappoint everyone, but did not work for us.

1. No bottled water in the room. They ask you to fill your glass or jug from the bathroom tap after pressing the ‘filter’ button on this random block that sits in the sink. They say it’s for environmental reasons which is fine but it’s a bit mid rate hotel and not really 5 star. My issue was partly to do with the bathroom being quite dated and didn’t feel like a nice place to get my drinking water from. To be fair, I did grumble about it to reception and was given bottled water.

2. We stayed in 626 and the bathroom was quite small and not very modern at all. Very clean but could do with revamp. Maybe other rooms had renovated bathroom.

3. Breakfast room had no windows (-1 floor) and the ground floor bar/restaurant area seemed like it could have been used for breakfast as it doesn’t open until midday.

4. Welcome gift for All Accor Platinum wasn’t hugely inspiring. Just a small fruit selection.

The good stuff.

1. Staff, especially the bar staff, were very friendly, capable and professional. Staff on the door offered a warm greeting every time and humoured us with our bad French.

2. The breakfast selection was very good and also available to order some items à la cate.

3. Very good cocktails in the bar and reasonable prices.

4. Location of the hotel is very good.

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück ausserordentlich vielseitig und lecker.

Cons:

Im Preis für eine Honeymoon Suite wäre aus unseren Erfahrungen ein Willkommensgetränk im Zimmer angebracht. Das Haus verspricht auf der Booking.com Seite Parkservice. Parkhaus, Auflade Station für Elektro-Autos an. Leider ist dem nicht so. Das Fahrzeug kann nicht aufgeladen werden, was sehr enttäuschend war.

Sofitel Le Awesome
Pros:

Hotel is perfectly located within a 45 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and 15 minute walk to the Louvre Museum. It is bright and upbeat and the hotel staff are top notch. From the front counter to the wait staff, they are all helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast buffet every morning was awesome. Everything was warm and fresh and the waitress was phenomenal. For the service, convenience and comfort the hotel provided, it was certainly a fair price to us.

Luxurious hotel with exceptional service
Pros:

A wonderful hotel in a great location. The rooms are well appointed and the beds ate really comfortable. All of the staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. The door man and the bellman were each so friendly and helpful. The head of guest experience really made us feel welcomed and treated us to free glass of wine and champagne while we waited for our room to be ready. She also assisted us in moving to a suite as we needed more room with all the shopping we had done.

Excellent hotel in the Opera District close to great restaurants and the subway.
Pros:

The hotel was first class and the staff was exceptional. The Concierge was able to assist us with numerous requests including restaurant suggestions, transportation, subway hints, etc.
it was a short walk to the subway. once there it was very easy to use and would take you anywhere in the City.

Amazing Hotel
Pros:

The Scibe Hotel is Amazing. The room is palatial and the service is First Class. Same for the service at Breakfast. Jordan and Medhe were particularly Helpful and Friendly. I would recommend the Scribe Hotel to anyone who visits Paris.

Nice stay, great location
Pros:

Very nice, clean, quiet and comfortable rooms, central location to many iconic features. HVAC system kept room cool during 95 degree heat wave and was noise free. Staff was very accommodating and attentive. Breakfast buffet excellent food with great service friendly and attentive staff.

Cons:

メゾネットタイプに宿泊したのですが、ベッドとトイレのフロアが違うのは不便。夜中にトイレに行く人には階段は危ないのでは⁉️
あと、隣の生活音が割と聞こえました。

An Amazing Stay in Paris
Pros:

Paris was our final stop of our 5 week European holiday and from the moment we arrived at Sofitel Le Scribe we were made to feel valued guests.

When our taxi pulled up out the front Victor opened the door of the taxi, took care of the luggage and greeted us by name and then showed us to the front desk.

Check in with Felix was efficient and he was friendly and helpful. I had an issue with one of my pieces of luggage and had emailed the hotel before our arrival requesting some assistance from maintenance to open my suitcase on arrival, the front desk had organized this and Akim showed us to our room, within minutes the gentleman from maintenance was there to assist with the suitcase.

Our room faced the courtyard, it was perfect, quiet and luxurious. It was a welcome oasis to return to each afternoon after a busy day of sightseeing and shopping in Paris.

Breakfast each morning was a delight. We were often greeted by Summer who was so friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, plentiful and many items made to order. A very special thankyou to Claudia who, each day would remember our egg and coffee orders. She was always smiling and assisted me with the little French that I know.

The location of the hotel is perfect, it's close to many attractions, Metro stations, cafes and restaurants, bars and wonderful shopping.

All the staff we encountered during our stay were friendly and helpful; it made for a most pleasing experience.

Another special thank you to the gentleman at the front door, these guys are fantastic!! Victor (again!) Akim and Mustafa who were all so very friendly and helpful in providing directions, assistance with taxis or identifying Ubers for us.

Thank you to everyone at the Sofitel Le Scribe Paris Opera for a most wonderful stay in April of 2026
