Staff members were pleasant and helpful good location
Car park was not monitored
Friendly staff, good food, great location
Nothing
Large airy rooms.
Noisy seagulls waking people up very early. No fault on behalf of the hotel obviously.
Nice property, nice location
Drunken hooligans in the outside area being loud and offensive in general! We ended up moving seats to avoid them but hotel staff did nothing to stop this! They weren’t guests at the hotel but were drinking there during the day, it’s spoiled our experience!
Excellent location in the centre of town, close to everything. The staff were particularly friendly and made our stay excellent.
The hotel was slightly tired in a few places car park was not big enough for the number of guests they can accommodate. There was free parking in the street outside overnight until 09:00.
Excellent quality food. Friendly and helpful staff, we all felt very welcome. Very welcoming and accommodating for our dog. Lovely atmosphere
Could improve housekeeping and cleanliness.
Everything, location , building and history, food and drink, and above all , every single member of staff were BRILLIANT
Having to go home ….
Very well located, big large room (still a small double bed though) in a nice historical hotel right near the pier in Beaumaris. Breakfast staff were wonderful!
Staff on reception. We rang to see if we could book direct for us both and our baby daughter as it was coming up £20 cheaper in booking.com and we wanted to ensure we had a cot in the room.
The receptionist said yes they’d provide a COT and they advised us to book on booking.com as they couldn’t match the price.
When we arrived she told us we had only booked for one person (despite our phone call and subsequent request for the invoice) and we owed them £20. Again we asked for the COT and she said it would be in the room. I questioned how we’d come to being £20 short if we’d spoke on the phone regarding our booking but told to pay on exit regardless.
The fan was also broken in our room which despite being a big room was incredibly dusty and alas no COT was ever brought up. We went back to reception but they were either busy or absent, so we went off to town & sorted out our own COT and fans for the room.
Upon checking out I explained the above to the next lady who couldn’t care less and said it was our fault for not hanging around reception to ask (how many times do you need to ask?) and just demanded the £20.
Breakfast had fantastic staff however so all credit goes to them.
The hotel is in a pleasant location.
The room did not match the advert on booking.com. It smelt musty, was extremely shabby, with multiple large holes in the net curtains, rotten window frame, missing skirting and dado rail, the bed was falling apart and everything else about the room was very tired. To top it off staff were very unhelpful / rude.
Not much tbh
I’m disabled and the parking situation was awful!
Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived
The hotel looked like it needed a good clean
Beautiful,elegant place
Nothing
Beautiful old furnishings
Seafront location
Staff were exceptional
Food excellent
Nothing
Location and friendliness of staff. Enjoyed chance to practice my Welsh.
Room was a little dated.
