Well Recommended
Pros:

The Bulkeley is well situated in the centre of the delightful town of Beaumaris. The building is historic and interesting in itself. The room was spacious with a huge bed and a very well appointed bathroom. The smart TV was also a good alternative to the World Cup! The staff offer a very friendly personal customer experience. I saw several occasions where the staff recognised previous guests (including ourselves) and greeted them warmly. A great breakfast just enhanced our stay.

Cons:

A greater choice of breakfast dishes on the residents' menu would have been beneficial.

Relaxing & convenient
Pros:

The hotel was beautiful. A little dated, but this is expected with the type of period hotel that it is. Staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was exceptional. Great place to bring a dog too.

Cons:

Only downside is that the lift was broken for our whole stay and had apparently not been working for weeks.

Pros:

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel is a lovely place, it was also in a great position The food was delicious and very well presented.

Cons:

Although the food was very delicious I didn't think you got a big enough portion at dinner, I don't really eat a great deal but I still felt hungry after my meal. I had risotto for my main meal and rice pudding for dessert and I got about 3 spoonfuls of pudding

Pros:

Beautiful location , fantastic staff who were great with our dog. Made us feel very welcome.

Cons:

Rooms are a bit dated but comfortable. Could have done with the fridge being reinstalled, space was there for it. Also needed more drawers.

Quiet and peaceful
Pros:

It’s conveniently located. Easy to get around. We had two rooms and one room was a sea front room. Views are beautiful.

Cons:

Everything was good. Breakfast was ok but there should be more vegetarian options without eggs. Car park was small so we had to park outside on the road and bring it in at night. The second room beds were not comfortable.

Excellent period hotel on the waterfront
Pros:

A great location on the waterfront. The hotel was spotlessly clean. The rooms were spacious with character. The staff were very friendly and professional. The food in the restaurant was excellent, compliments to the chef!

Cons:

The window wouldn't open due to a broken balcony railing which would have made it dangerous and as it was extremely hot weather this resulted in the room being very warm and made it difficult to sleep.
