Everything was really great, we had a perfect overall experience. The host was extremely friendly, the room was nicely furnished and the oceanfront view was fantastic. Even though this is only rated a three star hotel, it was far better than all the other four or five star hotels we had on our trip.
To our surprise the room had a connecting door, so you should maybe check before booking if that would bother you.

The smell from the birds in the heat was not great
We stayed at this hotel for just one night, but it left us with a wonderful impression! The room was spotless, comfortable, and exceptionally well equipped. Everything we needed was provided, and even more than we expected. We especially appreciated the thoughtful extras, such as bathrobes, flip-flops for the bathroom, and even binoculars to enjoy the ocean views. These little details made our stay feel extra special. Although our visit was short, we truly enjoyed it and would happily recommend this hotel!

The cutest place and the pelicans everywhere gave it such a vibe!
Everything, great beach really nice renovated room, the little diner served great breakfast, really friendly staff.
The view and room were good
We stayed in the old Shore Cliff part, room 234. The smell when opening the glass slider was awful. There were a massive number of birds and poop outside our room in the rocky cove. It's great that the birds are thriving in this little sanctuary but makes it impossible to sit out on the balcony to enjoy the view. We had to keep the slider closed the whole stay. There was a long/slow check in line. EV charging was virtually non-existent. Construction in the parking lot was blocking charging stations. We were directed to use the chargers in the old Pismo Lighthouse Suites parking lot. Drove over there. Only one of 2 chargers worked, but there was another car already charging. We had to charge at a friend's hotel down the road. The hotel makes it sound like charging is never a problem, but wish we had known ahead of time so we didn't waste time and effort trying to charge onsite.

The updated lobby was warm and inviting upon arrival.
We paid for a premium ocean front room and after walking to room the room was placed in the back of property behind a bunch of bushes, when we asked about the room the desk clerk said oh I moved your room so you wouldn’t hear people preparing breakfast. (This property doesn’t offer breakfast). The neighbors kept their TV loud all night to the point we couldn’t sleep, so this room issue set the tone for the remainder of our stay.
It was a nice facility
We stayed in a suite but the other room with the queen smelled like pee but the other room was fine.

The view was great. I love the easy access to grass for my puppy and how convenient it is to access the beach.
The price point for me. It was a bit expensive for two nights.
