Fun time by all…room size, accommodation and redone rooms were lovely. Now to have access to larger pool is a bonus!
Great location, beautiful room.
Beautiful room
Lots of construction
The room was very nice and spacious enough for a family of 4! The staff was very nice and very accommodating after the room we had reserved was not available due to construction still being done. The only thing that could be better is the water pressure. The property was very family friendly and a very short distance to the pier.
No one likes bait and switch especially to non equitable properties and room types!
I stayed here last night and had a wonderful experience. Although the hotel is currently undergoing renovations, the property was immaculate and extremely well maintained. The grounds are beautiful, and the view is absolutely spectacular.
Everything about the stay made for a relaxing and enjoyable evening. The atmosphere was peaceful, the surroundings were stunning, and it was clear that the staff takes great pride in keeping the property looking its best. I could not have enjoyed my stay more and would gladly return in the future.
Pool was very nice and clean everything was clean and room was very exceptional
I liked everything
I loved how big and updated the rooms were, staff was friendly.
Both fridges were turned off when we checked in, we put good food and milk in the fridge around 2 pm. When we opened the fridge to get milk for my daughter at 9 pm we noticed how warm everything was and turned on the fridges. I had to toss a lot of good food and go get new milk for my daughter late at night. Also the Chromecast in the second bedroom would not work so after 6 pm my kids had nothing they could watch.
The property is going through a major renovation which will result in it being a much more upscale hotel/resort. Despite all of the renovations, the staff did their best to accommodate our needs. In the next one or two months, I suspect the renovations will be completed, and this willbe an ideal location to take in the Pismo Beach atmosphere.
Great room with ocean and Pier view
This was our first time saying at the hotel they did warn us that they were having some renovations done. That was not an issue at all for us. The front desk was so friendly and helpful with recommendations. The rooms were so beautifully decorated, the views were amazing. My husband loved the delicious breakfast. This hotel literally has thought of everything from binoculars to look at the ocean to Q-tips and cotton balls. I would definitely stay here again and next time I’m bringing my kids.
I liked the ocean view it was very beautiful and very clean rooms
The only thing I didn't like was the beds very un comfortable but everything else was great
Staff exremely helpful, they accomodate every request, beautiful views; Prices are fair, premises are clean and in great shape. Without a doubt the best hotel in town.
First time staying and definitely not disappointed. Room was beautiful, bed was comfy, location was perfect!! Loved the activities for adults and kids. It was a very memorable trip.
Not good. When we made reservations we were not told it was undergoing renovations. There was construction all over. The elevator was out. They charged $15 for parking.
Remodeled room like new; fantastic view
The location is beautiful since it has an ocean view and the rooms were newly updated.
The hotel was under construction which was not noted until after I had already booked the stay. The rooms were very expensive for the hotel being under construction. The hotel also said it’s pet friendly, but it wasn’t very accommodating.
The location is beautiful, with outstanding views from the hotel, free parking, and a very relaxed, friendly vibe. You can walk from the hotel down to the beach through the surrounding hotel gardens, many of which have outdoor campfires in the evening, which creates a lovely atmosphere. The room itself was a really nice surprise, especially for a three-star property. It was beautifully and recently renovated, with a finish that felt more in line with a good four-star hotel.
However, the arrival experience was confusing. The signage made it feel as though we were arriving at a different property, and the lobby did not match the marketing photos. We were told the new lobby was ready but not yet open, which suggests the hotel is being marketed as the finished new property when it is clearly still under construction. There were also a few practical issues, such as being directed to a locked employees-only toilet, being allowed to use the pool but not given the key card needed to access it, and the pool bar feeling more like a tuck shop than a proper resort bar. Staff were not always very attentive, with some barely looking up from their phones as we walked past.
Overall, the hotel has a lot of potential and will probably be gorgeous once finished. The room, location and views were excellent, but the current experience does not fully match the way the property is being marketed.
